A happy and loving mind leads to a happy and loving soul. If you don't love yourself, how are you supposed to love other people if you can't value the beauty of the creation of you? Hatred takes up a lot of space in the mind and the soul, and I think self-loathing definitely consumes a lot of people's energies.
The path to self love can be long and difficult and it varies from person to person. What I post here is what I think helped me the most, and not all of it is things like "get up 15 minutes early!" and other things from twitter threads, which can actually be really helpful! Some of it can be brutally honest, and that's because to love yourself you have to be honest about it. You have to believe it in your heart; not believe that you're following the steps of a twitter thread, so therefore it has to be self love. . .right? Unfortunately, the answer is no.
In all honesty, I'm just trying to make this a feel-good book that everyone can get something out of, whether it be knowing what it's like to love your enemies or self realization.
