Sunday, next day:Today I had a day off, the girls went to hangout in the mall with Ruby, Jamal and Monse. I was all by myself in the house.
I gently caressed my hand. It still hurt a little since the fight I had yesterday with Anita. Part of me really regretted fighting, I shouldn't have been so violent in front of the girls but the other part of me wasn't, that bitch Anita deserved it.
Luckily she didn't do many damages on my roses. Hours after the fight, I was able to fix my garden, it wasn't 100% but it was better than not having roses at all.
"Wow, it's really hot." I wiped the sweat off from my neck, disgusted I decided to just take another shower.
This heatwave was horrible.
Then the door opened.
"I swear, I almost melted on the sidewalk!" Elena groaned, running towards the fan from the living room.
"Don't hog the fan!" Jamal also ran towards the fan, trying to push Elena out.
"Hey, stop!" she pinched him but that didn't stop him.
"Let's share it!"
"And to think I was alone with peace and quiet." I crossed my arms over my chest. Looking at the rest of them that entered the house as well.
Ruby, Monse, Catalina and...Jasmine!?
"Hey, girl!" Jasmine went to me, bringing me into a tight hug."What the fuck!?" I mouthed at the kids, bug-eyed. I knew for sure there was no way I would have peace and quiet on my house now.
Jasmine pulled me away and I quickly forced a smile. "Nice to see you." I kinda lied.
"Why are all of you guys here?" I only looked at Jasmine, the rest of them getting the hint.
"She literally joined us when we were on our way, she just followed us." Catalina chuckled awkwardly.
"You guys are cool though!" Jasmine beamed, popping her gum.
That damn gum!I understood them, it was funny to me watching them being nice to her even though she was really annoying. At least they tried not to hurt her feeling...I guess?
"Where's Cesar?" I asked them.
"Cesar? I don't know nothing about him!" Jamal stood up quickly and began to laugh nervously. "Do you have snacks!?"
"Um, yeah. I was gonna tell you guys, snacks are in the cabinets, knock yourself out."
"Thank you!" Jamal ran to the kitchen, I laughed at the weird boy.
"We don't know actually. We tried calling Cesar and his phone seems to be off." Monse said, she shrugged but I could tell she was worried.
"Maybe his good brother has him doing gang shit." I said sarcastically, emphasizing the word 'good' I was still upset that Oscar made his only little brother be a Santo.
"We are just upset as you are." Ruby said, taking a seat besides Catalina on the couch.
"Yo, but Oscar hot as fuck!" Jasmine spoke, loudly as usual. "Why don't you hook up with him, Rosario? He always looking at you and shit." She shot me a subtle wink.
My eyes went wide, shaking my head vigorously. "Not true, cállate." I waved her off.
"He actually does, maybe he likes you." Catalina shrugged, Elena nodded, agreeing with Catalina.
