Its been days.Days since I've talked to Oscar.
2 weeks to be exact.
I didn't even try to even figure out what was going on, I tried to avoid him at all cost anyways.
Part of me didn't want to and the other one did. I would be lying to myself if I never stopped thinking about our kiss or him.
It was confusing.
"I'm leaving!" I called the girls as I finished up cooking, leaving them lunch before I head to work.
"I'll be home by 6. I'll leave money for pizza in case you guys get hungry until I get back." I added.
"Remember the guys are coming!" Catalina reminded me as she took a seat on the dinner table, already taking a bite of the pork chops I made.
"Just don't make a mess when I get back, por favor." I groaned, taking the keys from the dinner table.
"Ooh, pork chops." Elena smiled, she just casually took a seat, already starting to eat her lunch.
Catalina and I glanced at each other, then looked at Elena. We began to laugh.
"What's so funny?" Elena set down her fork, looking at us as if we were crazy."Porqué estas tan bonita, eh?" I asked her, narrowing my eyes playfully.
Elena is a beautiful girl, rarely wore makeup and always wore casual, comfortable clothing. Way oposite of Catalina.
Today she had her hair down with soft waves, lipgloss and a cute floral shirt and denim shorts.
Elena's eyes widened and her cheeks already began to turn pink, she tugged a hair strand behind her ear and continued to eat.
"It's Ruby." Catalina said in a sing song voice, she loved teasing Elena.
"Shut up!" Elena whined, Catalina kept teasing her.
I shook my head, smiling at them. "I'll be home later, when the other guys get here, I better not see a mess! Call me if anything happens, love you guys."
"Lo-love you too!" Catalina barely could get the words out because Elena had her in a headlock.
Those two were always playing around.

I was at work, at the flower shop. Finishing up with the Daisies. It was a slow day at work but I had a lot to do since my co-worker took a day off."Rosario, has estado trabajando mucho..."
I was so busy at work I even forgot what time it was, it was way passed 6 pm.
"Oh, wow." I laughed, looking at the clock that was behind me.
"No te preocupes, I was so busy in the office, I also forgot." Doña Lucero patted my shoulder, giving me a sweet smile. She reminded me of my abuelita.
"It's okay, I was too carried away anyways."
"You are a hard worker, Rosario." She chuckled. "I admire that a lot."
"Thanks, I'm trying to be a good role model, for my sisters." I began to take off my apron and gloves.
"But you are mija, now go on, it's time to go home and get some rest."
