Lindsey POV.
I woke up from the darkness with a huge head ache and pain in my stomach. It was completly silent not even the heart monitors could be heard. I slowly got up and waited till the room wasn't spinning and looked around. I can see a bag that seems to have collected dust, dead flowers. I got up and went to the restroom and turned on the water. I cupped the water in my hands and brought it to my mouth. After I was good I went back to my room and put on my pants, socks and shoes. I brushed through my hair that was really oily. I went back into the bathroom and looked in the mirror. I looked really pale and my rsdish hair now looks brown and my eyes looked off like there was a crack inside it. I remember walking to the diner for lunch but I was grabbed. Then being shot when I tried to get out of the mans hold.
'Oh lord what about dad? Lori and Carl?' I thought.
I went to the door and I try to push it but it was stuck. I tried again and a bed that was in front of the door. I tried again and it moves away. I looked around and there is bodies on the ground and I pale more. I looked around trying to figure out what happened. I walked a little down the hallway to see bullet holes in the walls. I continue walking and I found a door that read 'Don't Open, Dead inside.' I was confused. I peeked and saw a woman with her stomach outside where it does not belong and walking. Her eyes were yellowish and there was a bite mark on her neck. I backed away and I looked around.
I found a light switch and tried to turn it on but it doesn't work. I walked to the stairs thinking if the power is not working then the elevator is not going to work. It was pitch black and I continued walking cautiously and I saw the exit. I push it open to stop in shock. There was bodies lined up and down the pavement some covered in white sheets while others lay openly to the elements. I looked aroung covering my eyes from the harsh sun. The town was like a ghost town from movies. There was no one in sight. I started walking and I heard a moan and I turned to the noise and I saw a woman that has only her top half and reach. I was mentally freaking out. What happened? Where is everyone? Did an zombie apocalypse happen when I was asleep?
