Chapter 9- Covered In Secret

>Kyri's POV<

I smiled as he hugged me and I hugged him, my body right next to his.

"You cheated in the nerf wars," I whispered into his ear. He squeezed lightly.

"Whatever." he breathed quietly, his hot breath making shivers run down my spine when coming in contact with my ear. He laughed quietly. "You are so easy."

I giggled quietly and closed my eyes, leaning against him. He sighed and played with my hair. I stayed there with him for a few minutes. Then he moved around a little.

"Kyri, I need to ask you something."

My heart raced. "Yeah?" I choked out.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" By now my eyes started to tear up and I couldn't speak. Once I regained my voice two tears had fell. I couldn't say it. I couldn't tell him.

"Liam..."

He looked at me with hopeful eyes. Oh God. He was so... Perfect. Perfect for another girl. Not me. "N- No." I managed. "No, I'm sorry."

Then the door opened. Bayani walked in with Grape behind him. They both looked hurt. Liam did too. I stood up and ran upstairs, the tears that were held back now falling desperately. I sat down at my desk and went on my private TeamSpeak with Naomi and Katrina, and a few others. I typed in the chat: Hey, anyone there?

N- Yup! Kat's here too

K- Heyo! Wanna record?

Me- Heck yeah! Mcsg?

K- of course!

N- let's go!

I logged into Minecraft and soon enough we were in the lobby. We hopped around and chatted while we waited for the map to load. In the bottom left corner of the screen I see Naomi and Katrina talking to a fan.

"Kyri.. should we leave?" Naomi asked softly. I sighed.

"No. We'll kick their ass." I said smirking.

"Atta girl!" Katrina yelled.

We were teleported to a map soon after thar conversation. They didn't speak to us again, nor did we. The three of us had met up, and there was only three people left to kill until death match would begin. Only three of us could be in. We started searching when it told us in the chat one person had died. On the tab list it told us it was us three, Zach, and Liam.

"You have to find them!" Kat yelled. Her and Naomi held spawn, while I searched for more chests. Then I saw two name tags inside a mountain secret path.

"Guys!!" I crouched, hoping they didn't see mine. They crouched too. "Dammit guys! I'm like four blocks away from them and we're both shifting."

"Stay strong girl! We're coming for ya!" Naomi said. I hope.

Then I heard the retracting of pistons and a hole cutting in the mountain. I watched the small outline of name tag that I could see move as they crouched to the doorway. It's virtual battle time.
