>Kyri's POV<
I laced my fingers into Liam's and grinned. We ran out the glass doors into the rain. We stopped in front of my car and H turned to look at me.
"What?" I asked, he stared at me.
"I have a few things but first, how did you get here?" he raised an eyebrow at me.
"I drove." I retorted.
His eyes widened. "You what?"
I folded my arms. "I drove here, why shouldn't i?"
"Because you can't drive!"
I sighed. "Whatever, I drove here because I wasn't going to ask Zach and it's only like two feet from my house."
He took a step closer to me. "You live at the edge of the city," he stared into my eyes. "This is one of the most popular places in the city, in the middle. Nice try."
I sighed again. "Whatever, here's the keys." I threw them at him and got into the passenger seat while he walked around to the driver seat.
>H's POV<
I kept my concentration on driving all the way to Kyri's house. I didn't look at her once. I heard her fiddling with the necklace she was wearing. Her eyes burned into my skin, I could tell she was looking at me. I bit my lip.
"Sorry about that," I said quietly.
"What?"
"I'm sorry I went over protective on you, I didn't mean it. I just really want you to be careful because I know-" I paused, deciding I shouldn't mention her brother, knowing they got in a fight. "I know it wouldn't be good if something happened to you and I wouldn't be able to live without you. I have to protect you."
The rain splattered down on the windows causing a pounding sound to constantly be ringing throughout the vehicle. She looked at me and smiled weakly.
"You don't want to hurt me. I understand. But you can't hurt me anyway, I'm already broken. Everyone thinks I've been getting worse because I had fight with my brother and life isn't exactly leaning my way but it can't get any worse. It's as bad as it could ever possibly be. My school years bent me along with my family. Then a brake up made me crack. Eventually I just broke. Now I'm left here for someone to come clean up my pieces and put back together,"
She took a quick breath before continuing. "But the thing is, I'm not that beautiful china vase that everyone admires. I'm the brown clay bowl that someone messed up on and broke in the kiln. Nobody wants to fix me."
I stopped the car and pulled over. "Get out." I demanded. She looked at me with wide eyes before obeying. I walked around the car and put my hands on her shoulders. She looked up at me. The rain dropped down on us. We pressed our foreheads together.
She tilted her head upwards and pecked my lips. I smiled slightly and kissed her. When I pulled away I whispered to her, "Please don't think like that."
She pulled her head away from mine. "Why shouldn't I?" tears welled up in her eyes. I shook my head.
"Because I want to fix you."
