Chapter 2 - You've got to be kidding me

The bell rang telling us that lunch was over and all the students head back to their classroom. We head to our classroom but Mr. Roberts, our Anatomy teacher was absent today so we just stayed at the room. It’s more like our free period.  My classmates head out to go somewhere, some were chatting with their friends and some I don’t know.

I’ve got nothing to do so I just decided to arrange my things. It was quite a mess this time around. It was because I’ve been busy earlier we just finished our project in History. All the materials that we used earlier are all on my desk so I decided to put them in my locker and throw some of it that is not useful anymore.

I grabbed them all and proceed to my locker.

I was about to put the materials on the floor when someone suddenly tapped me on the shoulder and I looked behind who did it- it was Liam smiling sheepishly.

“Extra hand perhaps?” he asked glancing at what I’m carrying on my arms. It’s not quite heavy though but it’s plenty for my two small arms I have.

I have a set of poster colors, a rim of colored papers, and three small cut boards, and four paint brushes on my hand. Come to think of it. Yes, I need some extra hands. I nodded and he took some while I opened my locker. We put the things inside and we head back to our room.

Didn’t I mention I also have Anatomy with him?

“Thanks a lot incredible hulk.” I said as we took our seats.

“No worries Al.” Liam replied. “For a girl who has two small arms like you, those things might fall on the floor any time.” I just rolled my eyes and took my book for Trig to study for the exam we have tomorrow.

Twenty dollars appeared on my desk suddenly. I looked up and saw Danny holding out to me. I furrowed my eyes in confusion giving him a what-is-this look.

“There’s excess money on our contribution, me and Chloe forgot to tell you. So we divided it into five and give it back to you guys.” He explained.

“Oh.” I only said.

“Unless…” he smirked. I shook my head and he laughed. I was about to took the money but then someone’s hand appeared before I even got to touch the money.

I looked to my right and saw Liam smirking, I glared at him.

I know he already have his share and I won’t let him take it. It’s twenty dollars.
