Chapter 7 - Its cute

Monday.

One word.

Horror story.

I guess you could say the same because that's what every student feels every start of the week.

I just had a wonderful weekend, especially with Liam. I had never expected I would have such a wonderful time with him though I knew him already and he was a friend of mine. Oh. We usually don't hang out that much because he has those guy friends and I have mine.

As much as I love to graduate, I hate waking up on mornings. So yeah you can basically say I'm not a morning person. Now I'm standing in my bathroom brushing my teeth I'm going to take a bath right after and get dress for school.

I choose my favorite Hogwarts hoodie match it up with my jeans and my chucks.

I smell pancakes as I go down the stairs.

"Hmmmmmm, smells good." I commented while I seated at the stool at the kitchen counter. "Good morning Mom."

She turned and said "Good morning sweetie. I prepared pancakes." Smiling at me and at the same time placing the pancakes in front of me.

I picked up the fork and slaughtered the delicious pancakes. "Thanks Mom." I try to say as I chew the pancakes I love.

My mom chuckled. "Your welcome dear. Oh, I'll be home late. Got a new case."

"Okay. I'll just have my dinner delivered. I prefer Chinese later. You might want some when you got home?"

"No thanks Al. I'll just eat with my workers. Don't mind me." she smiled and I nodded. "You're going to be okay later? Or you might want to have a sleepover with Faye?"

"I don't know yet Faye must be busy with our English Lit. But I'll call you if I change my mind though."

A phone ringing interrupted our conversation. My mom picked up her phone and grab her keys and things. "Okay dear. I'll go now? Bye Al. Love you!" she said as she closed the door behind her leaving me with my delicious pancakes.

While I'm happily munching my breakfast, I hear a car outside our house. Then I thought it was must be mom she might forgot something. Just then a knock on a door surprised me. Mom would just open it, so technically its not her.

I stood up, drank some of my juice and headed to the door. I opened it and surprised to what, no, who I saw.

"Hey. Liam, what are you doing so early today? Especially at my house?" I asked as I let him inside our house.

"Hi Allie. Just wanted to drop before I head to school and" he said as he scratched the back of his neck, "Ask you if you want a ride? Since your mom left early." He look at his shoes while saying this.

I raised my eyebrow at him at his sudden bubbling. I chuckled at his state right now. Its cute.

Really? Now I think he's cute right now.

I can also see that he is wearing a navy blue shirt and a faded jeans and a black chucks. His shirt is a fit to him that you can see the muscles beneath it. I wonder why is he not wearing his jacket or a hoodie?

Oh. What am I thinking?!

Yeah right. A ride. Focus.

"Yes. Sure." I accepted the offer and smiled at him. "Let me just grab a few things." I took my bag, my wallet, keys.

When I was about to say I'm ready I saw Liam looking at our pictures at the living room.

"Hey Liam, ready to go?" He turned and smiled at me.

It was a peaceful ride to school.

Liam parked his car. I got out and saw Faye. Perfect timing.

"Faye!" I called out to her. She looked at my direction and smiled and wiggling her eyebrows at me. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. She walked towards me and I suddenly felt someone's arm on my shoulder. Tilting my head to where it came from I saw Liam smiling down at me.

"How's your weekend my dearest Allie?" Faye asked happily as she reached me and Liam. "Hi Liam."

"Hello Faye." Liam greeted back.

"It was awesome Faye." I answered back chuckling.

I felt Liam is chuckling also. "So you two are something now huh?" Faye said as she looked at the arm on my shoulder. Straight to the point my dear best friend.

"No." I said bluntly. "Liam gave me ride earlier." I turned to him "Thanks by the way."

"Oh-kay." Faye said as she put emphasis on the oh part and rolled her eyes at me. I slapped her arm and we both laugh.

Then suddenly the bell rang and we all walk towards our classroom. I have trigo with Liam and Faye's class is at the other side. I'll meet her at lunch.
