Entrance Exams

Time Skip to day of entrance exam(because I'm lazy this chapter)

Kai's POV

This is it, The day of the entrance exams. I've trained and studied hard for both the written and battle part, especially the battle part. I've now learned how to tap into some of my power without going complete Ghost Rider. Granted I still lose control when I do completely transform.

After eating my breakfast, I get on my motorcycle and ride all the way to UA. As I parked my bike outside, I see Izuku in the distance. He was walking toward the gate when he tripped over his foot. As I stood there watching, I saw a girl with brown hair and eyes use her quirk to prevent Izuku from hitting the floor. I see them talk a little bit and then the girl enters the building. I witness Izuku's miniature freak out and figured that it was his first time talking to a girl. I walk towards him and decided to talk to him.

Kai: "So I'm guessing that's your first time actually talking to a girl, huh?"

Izuku jumped to the sound of my voice and turned around.

Izuku: "K-Kai, h-how long have you been here?"

Kai: "Long enough to see what happened."

I could tell Izuku felt embarrassed after hearing that I watched his small conversation with that girl.

Kai: "Hey you don't have to feel embarrassed, I'm your friend after all."

Izuku: "O-Okay."

Kai: "Anyway, we should probably head inside now. Don't wanna be late."

Izuku: "Oh, right."

Izuku and I walk into the building. We took the written part of the exam and it was easy. We sat next to each other and listen to Present Mic explaining the battle part of the exams. After his explanation, a kid with glasses and engines in his legs raised his hand to ask a question.

Four-eyes: "I have a question."

Present Mic: "Ask away."

Four-eyes: "You said there are three types of robots in this exam but on this sheet of paper, there's four. Is this a misprint? Because if it is I'm very disappointed in UA for allowing such an error."

As he's asking the questions, I can hear Izuku mumbling next to me. I'm not sure what he was mumbling about but to me, it sounded as if he was thinking about if the fourth type of robot is a misprint. Or maybe he was just feeling nervous, I'm not sure. Then I heard four-eyes calling to Izuku.

Four-eyes: "And you there."

Izuku: "Huh, me?"

Four-eyes: "Yes you. Stop with the mumbling, it's distracting. If you're not here to become a hero then you should leave."

As I heard him say those words, I could see Izuku was feeling bad over his mumbling. He shouldn't feel bad, it wasn't really distracting. This kid's probably just a bit uptight. Since Izuku couldn't stand up for himself, I decided to do it for him in the kindest way I could. Don't wanna make an immediate enemy. Not yet anyway.

Kai: "Hey dude, chill. Izuku's just a bit nervous, that's all. Nothing to bash him about, I mean we all get nervous at some point, don't we? So there's no need to call him out for something that's completely natural. Plus if he was being distracting, I'm pretty sure everyone else would be telling Izuku the same thing you told him. So unless you're here to make enemies, I suggest you keep quiet and listen."
