Class 1a vs The Spirit of Vengeance Part 2: Enter Blackheart

Kai's POV

I immediately started running through the maze as All Might basically yelled start. I also heard actual alarms going off to signify I'm trying to escape.

(SFX)

I must admit, the heroes put a lot of work into making this look real. I'm actually getting immersed into this.

Anyways, I'm running around aimlessly through the maze because I don't know where to go and then stop in front of a wall.

Kai: "Damn, dead end."

I turn around to walk the other way and while I'm walking, I hear footsteps. I hide behind the corner of a wall and take a quick peek to see Momo and Mineta walking around looking for me.

Momo: "You think he might be around here?"

Mineta: "I'm not sure. He could be anywhere. He's probably waiting for us. That thought alone scares me. What if he goes flaming skeleton on us? We might not even stand a chance."

Momo: "Oh relax, he's not gonna go Ghost Rider the moment he sees us. You're right about one thing though, his Rider form looks powerful. Hopefully it's not too much to handle if he does go Rider on us.

I knew they'd eventually find me so I decided to reveal myself.

Kai: "Hey, I'm right here you know.

Momo: "Giving yourself away? Doesn't sound like a smart move in my opinion."

Mineta: "Crap, he's here."

Kai: "The Rider is strong, definitely, but I don't need to transform in order to take you on."

I whip out my chain and see Momo create a staff with her quirk and Mineta grab a couple of sticky balls from his head. I swing my chain upward to strike, only for them to move out of the way. Momo charges at me and begins her assault. Gotta admit, she's good with a staff and her fighting skills aren't that bad either. But, that's not gonna be enough to stop me. As Momo's about to strike me again with her staff, I grab it with one hand and kick her in the stomach while letting go to push her back. She gets back up and out of nowhere, I feel something sticky on my back. I see that Mineta had snuck behind me while I was fighting Momo. This caught me off guard and Momo kicked the side of my arm and sent me to the wall. I was stuck for the moment. I could've used my powers to melt the sticky balls right now but I decided to play it out to make them think they got me.

Kai: "Huh, guess I shoulda seen that coming."

Mineta: "Haha, we got him!"

Momo: "Don't be so sure. He may have let his guard down when you surprised him but he's not that easy to beat."

From the sound of that, it seemed like she knew I could burn the sticky balls on my back with my powers at anytime so she kept her distance.

Kai: "She's right, you know. One surprise attack won't keep me down."

With that, I burned the sticky balls on my back and got off of the wall. I decided I didn't want to drag this fight out any longer so I wrapped my chain around my hand, ignited it a bit, and punched the ground.

Kai: "SMOKESCREEN!"

Mineta: "*cough* *cough* smoke? *cough*"

Momo: "*cough* He's trying to get away from us!"
