Chapter 1: Bal, Is Over

(Bal = Ben X Mal)

Mal's POV:
Ben. That's the only person that has been on my mind, lately anyways. These past few weeks we've been arguing and fighting. I just think that we are not meant to be.

I texted him to meet me in my room, so I waited until, "Mal?" Ben says I reply "Come in, Ben." I see him enter the room, "Ben, we need to talk." He nods, I guess he knows what I want to talk about.

I begin, "Ben, lately we've been fighting and arguing. This isn't good, you and I both know this so-" But Ben interrupted, "Mal, I know you want to end this, I do too, it isn't best." I agree, "Yeah, I agree." Then I ask, "Can I tell you something?" He nods back.

I sigh, "I actually have feelings for someone else." He blushes, "S-so do I." I hold my hand out, "Friends?" Ben shakes my hand with pride, "Friends!" He leaves the room. I actually don't feel sad, I feel happy we can be happy each other!

Evie's POV:
I can't believe it, Doug just dumped me for some girl in Esme, a beautiful tropical resort Island. I sit on one of the benches in the gym where Jay and Chad usually train.

Tears fall down my face, I see Chad walk in. He runs up to me, "Evie, what's wrong?!" Chad puts both his hands on my cheeks. I look at him, my heart crushed.

Chad sits next to me, worry and shock were written all over his face, I could see it in his eyes. "D-Doug b-broke u-up w-with me!" More tears escaped my eyes like a waterfall.

He kisses my forehead, "If he loved you, he would never do that do you!" I realise what Chad said was right. Then his coach came in, "Chad! We-" he stops when he sees Chad and me hugging.

Chad smiles and leaves with his coach, I leave to go talk to Ben about why he and Mal broke up.

Ben's POV:
I was in my office, reading some files about Auradon's WiFi system, then I hear a knock on my door. I say, "Come In!" Not asking who it was. Then I hear, "Ben?" I know that beautiful voice from anywhere! I stand straight up and smile, "Evie!"

She looks at me with a slight smile, "Ben, can we talk?" I reply, "Yes, but it looks like you've been crying." I nod, "Yeah, I guess." I walk up to her, hold her left hand then wipe her tears away with my right. Then I say, "if you need someone to talk to, always come to me, no matter what!" I hug her tightly, not wanting to let go.
