Chapter 8: Tourney Game!

-The Next Day-

William's POV:
5 minutes. 5 minutes until the Auradon Prep Tourney team go out and play against Bookington High, our biggest rivals.

Ben is our team captain and not just because going to be the future king, but he's actually one of the best Tourney players we have at school. We have to win it!

Coach comes in and says proudly, "Boys, we've been waiting for this day since time! You all have made me the proudest Tourney coach on this planet." we all clap, our coach is like our second father. Never would we replace Coach Towers.

Jane's POV:
I was sitting in between Cj and Paige on the bleachers. Paige is William's younger sister. I whispered Cj, "What do you think about Paige?" Cj smiles, "She is the best. And I still can't believe she got us and the girls those amazing gifts."

Earlier, Paige got me and the gifts. She got me a fairy wing necklace, she got Cj a telescope and a red glitter perfume, Uma got a ocean lamp and a shell dream catcher, Mal got a dragon bracelet and some spray paints and since Paige is princess of Cloud Kingdom, she got Evie the top model line of dresses a some barrels of silk and other fabrics.

Cloud kingdom aka Neverland is 500ft above the whole of Auradon and is the exact same size. I used to live their until I was eleven. I miss it. But Paige and William's parents are King Peter Pan and Queen Wendy Darling. So they are royalty.

Anyways, the boys were playing against boys from Bookington high. The boys that were playing for Auradon prep that hang out with me and the girls were Ben, Jay, Carlos, William, Harry and Gil. It was a 10 v 10 game.

The whistle was blown and the game started, I looked at Paige, "Hey, you okay?" She asked in awe, "Who is he?" I reply blankly, "Oh, that's Gil, Son of Gaston."

Paige's POV:
I tried to focus on the game. Back an forth the ball went. Hopefully, Auradon will win, Bookington High is the worst! I sit in the bleachers and think, 'If I tell Gil I like him and if ask him if he wants to go to the disco with me. He'll say no...'

I've never been lucky in love. It hurts. Badly. Really bad. I let one tear slip down my face but then it gets wiped away by Evie. She looks at me, "Why wouldn't he say yes?" I hug her and she hugs back.

It was the final 10 seconds, If Ben could make in, Auradon wins the entire Tourney League! Ben hits the ball and...
IT GOES IN!!

Everyone was cheering, my face lit up, Auradon won, so why can't I. Evie ran down to the pitch. I saw her and Ben kiss more passionately than in romance films. Uma was next to kiss Harry, then the rest of girls did so. I walked up to Gil and hugged me and he hugged me back making laugh.

Now, in 1 hour or so, the celebratory disco will begin! I'm so excited, all I need now is for Gil to hopefully be my date.
