Chapter 10: Hit Or Dare?

-The Next Day-

Evie's POV:
Me, the girls and the boys were just hanging out. Ben was put his arm behind my waist. We were just chatting and then Paige asked, "Right, Uma, Truth or Dare?"

Uma smiled, "Truth." Paige thought then asked, "How old were you when you first met Harry?" She held his hand and said, "When I was three." Paige sighed, "Aw!"

Uma asked, "Evie, Truth or Dare?" I laughed, "Dare." Uma smiled, "I dare you to put silk in your mouth for 10 seconds?" I dragged my hand over my face as the others scoffed.

Ben grabbed a patch of blue navy silk and handed it to me. I slowly took it from Ben and put it in my mouth. Everyone apart from me counted, "1, 2, 3."

You could see in my face that I hated every second. Then everyone counted, "8, 9, 10!" I ran to the nearest bin and spat out the silk, a beautiful fabric, wasted.

-Later That Day, 9pm-

Uma's POV:
Me, Harry, Cj and Gil went on a walk. It's been ages since we've hung out as us four. Then I get a text:

Unknown- Hello, Uma
Uma-Who are you?
Unknown- The person that will make life for you and your friends a living nightmare! But call me Shards..
Uma- Yeah Right
Unknown- Lemme prove it....
Uma- How?
Unknown- With a little accident.

End of Text.

Harry was on the road, at this time cars are not allowed on this road, so he's fine. What did 'Shards' mean by 'a little accident.'

I was showing CJ the texts. Out of nowhere a white van came and hit Harry! His body landed on the ground, back first. I shouted, "HARRY!" And I ran to him. Tears were falling down my face! Gil and CJ ran in to go get help, whilst I stayed there holding my boyfriend's body...

-AT 5 In The Morning-

Harry's POV:
Uma? Where is she? Is she okay? CJ? How is she? Gil? Is he there? Where am I? Why is my head hurting? A van? Uma? Where is she?

Questions fill my head, like a flood in a room without windows or doors, full to the brim. I feel a hand on mine, who is it? Another question, flowing into my aching head.

My eyes finally open, and there she was, my captain sleeping peacefully in my arms. I caress her cheek as she slowly opens her eyes, "Uma.." She kissed my cheek and said, "You're awake, finally!" I ask, "How long was I out?" She held my hand, "7 hours."

I smile, "Better than a day I guess." Uma rested her head on my chest, "I was so scared, I thought you were-" I cut off due to the fact I knew exactly what she going to say. I don't have the same relationship as my mum and dad.

I ask Uma, "When am I getting discharged?" She says blankly, "In a few minutes." I nodded, I just wanted to hug my Uma, in silence.
