"Crow?" I ask. I've only seen him a few times one time was at my first Academy  camp when he was with Marc and Mr. Toma and the Others in their team and a few times at other Academy events.

His brown eyes widen in surprise at seeing me but his cocky grin remains.

"Aren't you Norths girl?" He asks in a deep Russian accent. "Wait- Crow?"

"Um No." I say my cheeks tinting. I didn't really want to get into the break up right now. "North told me once that your name was Crow." I say.

His laugh is deep and makes my heart flutter. "My name is Raven." He says. "North and I never really got a long I'd call him West or South and he'd always call me Crow just to get at each other." He explained. "So you left the Blackbourne team?" He asks. I nod softly.

"Oh I thought you were still with them. I hadn't heard anything about it." He says.

"I was we broke it off a few weeks ago." I say. "You're on Mr. Tomas team aren't you?" I ask trying to change the subject.

"Yeah I'm on his team. Have you met him before?"

"Only briefly a few times over the years. Owen introduced us when I was still in high school." I say.

"Owen? Who's Owen?" He asks.

"Owen Blackbourne . In the Blackbourne team." I say.

"Ooh I never knew his actual name. He's stiff like that." He says grinning down at me.

I smile despite my aching heart. "Yeah he is. He likes the formality." I say.

"You must have been decently close to him too. Must have been interesting." He says his eyes widening. I just nod my head. Trying not to remember the last time I saw Owen. And his insistence on calling me Miss Sorensen again. Like I lost all those years with him gaining his trust and love. But I guess I did do that.

"But he's so flat faced how could you like him?" He asks. Flat faced? Owen Blackbourne? My model-like ex?

"He means emotionless." The voice came from a man behind Raven. We both turned to look at him. Mr. Toma stood there wearing causal clothes a t-shirt and jeans. His brown eyes grew a little surprised after seeing me.

"Miss Sorensen?" He asks. "What are you doing here?"

"Hi, Mr. Toma. I-I live here now." I say gesturing to my apartment door.

He looks at the door then back at me. "By yourself?" He asks surprised. I nod quickly.

"Er I should get going I have to get something from my car." I say feeling a light blush creeping up my neck. "I'll see you guys around." I quickly walk around Raven and past Mr. Toma before either could say a word.

I go down the elevator and make it out to my car and quickly grab my new phone and a few other things I had left in the trunk.  I needed to start unpacking and get everything situated so I turn to go back to the apartment building. When I see Sean's car pull into the parking lot. He pulls into a parking space across the lot and climbs out and comes towards me with a soft smile. "Sean." I say in greeting.

"Sang you forgot your phone and laptop at the house." He says. And I see that he's holding both in his hands.

"Thank you But I don't need them. You can sell them if you want. I don't feel I should keep them." I tell him.

"These were gifts Sang. Just because we all broke up doesn't mean they still aren't yours."

I shake my head. "Thank you. I just feel wrong keeping them. Besides I bought myself a new phone today. I feel better knowing I'm paying my own phone bills" I say.

"Pook- Sang  at-least keep the laptop. That was a gift last year for your birthday. That is a valid thing to keep." He says holding it out.

I sigh and take it from him. "Thank you Sean." I tell him.

"How are you Sang?" He asks.

"I'm fine. Just getting settled in my new place." I tell him. "How about you? How are you?"

"I'm on the fence honestly. I want to go on the mission but they don't really need me. They already have an Academy group they are working with that has a doctor and Phil just offered me the head of the pediatric unit position."  He tells me his green eyes glinting in the sunlight.

"You've been trying to get that position for a year now, haven't you?"

"Yeah and I've finally got it and the team is requested for a mission over seas. And I'd lose the position to Dr. Donald and who knows when that position will be opened up again." He says.

"What do you think you'll do? Have you told Owen?" I ask.

"I've told him but all communication will be cut off soon so I need to make a decision. I have his ok. But I don't know. I know the Academy will put me in a temporary team until they get back. But I don't know it feels like I'm betraying them some how."

"Sean they know you've wanted this position for a while now. They love you they'd understand. And the mission is only temporary so you have nothing to worry about." I tell him putting a hopefully reassuring hand on his arm.

"Sang the mission has changed a bit I can't tell you much but they don't know when it could end. It could be a year or two."

"Wow that's a large mission."

"Yeah. Sorry for just spilling my guts out to you. You probably don't care. I hope you enjoy your apartment." Sean says spinning around and starting to walk away.

"Sean I do care. Just because we broke up it doesn't mean I don't care about you or what you're going through." I call out to him.

"Have a good day Sang." He tells me before getting into his car and driving away.

Well that didn't go as well as it could've been. But it was sweet of Sean to bring me the laptop. He seems so worried about the choice he had. Understandably so.
