Maybe it was the gleam in her pretty eyes, always full of life.
Or could it have been the way she dressed?
The way she held herself high with confidence and fought every battle with strength and pride.
What if it was how she showed consideration and cared for me when no one else did?
Perhaps falling in love with her was a bad idea.
But my biggest mistake was making her hate me. Letting her fall for someone else while I watched from the sidelines. I was such an idiot, not only did I ruin my friendship with my first love but I also ruined my life. I hated myself for so long, thinking why the hell am I even trying anymore?
