The cafeteria's usual chatter and noise had suddenly heightened as the pair of friends strolled in for lunch. People left and right were gawking at the transfer students as they joined the line, but were suddenly pushed to the front.
"Jesus Christ, these people obviously don't know shit about personal space." Muttered Leo as she observed the food options. Daniel quietly chuckled, hearing his new friend's fiery words.
Meanwhile, three suspicious looking boys were eying the pair as they ordered their food. "Hey newbies!" Goon the 1st called out, making eye contact with Daniel. "We need to talk!"
Leo looked over with a neutral face while poor Daniel seemed to melt into a puddle onto the floor. "Hey, hey," Leo whispered as she noticed her friend's discomfort. "Get a grip, I'll come with you."

As they neared the meeting place where the Goons and Leo agreed on, Leo instantly got the feeling that the place was often used for bullying and other shady business. "Stay behind me," She muttered as she now stood in a more defensive stance, silently eyeing her surroundings.
The 3 Goons soon spotted the pair and quickly waved them over.
"So," Goon the 1st started. "You're Leo and Daniel, huh?" "Yeah, so what?" Growled Leo as she bared her jagged teeth.
Goon the 2nd walked over the the alert Leo and silently slid his arm around her small shoulders, having to lean down slightly because of her height. Daniel instantly saw Leo's expression harden as he quietly prayed for the poor idiot who'd decided to touch her.
"Chill sweetheart," slurred 2nd as 1st offered cigarettes to her and Daniel. "I just want your number—" "Get the fuck away from me." Leo snarled, as she clenched her jaw to once again reveal her teeth. She swiftly shook off the Goon's grasp and made her way back to Daniel's side with a deep scowl showing absolute disgust.
"Look at your shoulders," Said one of the Goons to break the thick tension between the transfers and the Goons. "You work out? You must know a lot of chicks." Another Goon soon gained the confidence to try his luck with the stoic Latino. "You might be short honey, but you sure are fucking sexy."
"Dan?" Leo muttered. "I think I'm gonna kill a bitch tonight—" She snarled as she lunged to the fucker who couldn't take a hint. Daniel had to react quickly and hold back the fierce girl before she could do proper damage to these idiots who dared to call her short and tried to hit on her.
