Chapter 26

It has been an hour. I have been laying in this hospital bed for an hour, and Luke hasn't come.

A woman, with light brown hair who looked fairly young came in.

"Hi, Camryn. My name is Clara Davids. I work with the paitients who have a set time until, well you know. Anyway, since I heard you only have until saturday to live, we will give you another wish."

When I first found out I had cancer, they had this foundation where you have a wish to do anything you want. I went to Paris with my brother and my dad. So having another wish is awesome.

"Do you have any ideas? Nothing to big." I though for a bit.

"Yeah, actually I rented this ballroom type place for a night. Friday night, oh shoot tomorrow. But, I would really like to go, since I'm the one who's throwing the party." I chuckled.

"Hmm. I guess that would be fine. I'll go tell the foundation members and the doctors." I nodded but then remembered Luke. 

"Excuse me!" I yelled right before she closed the door. She turned. "By any chance is there a boy, kinda tall, dark curly hair, with an australian accent waiting out there?" She shook her head.

"I'm sorry, but no one but your family." I nodded.

Just then, I heard a noise around the window. ANd then, to my surprise, there was that crazy australian I love, falling into the room. 

"Luke!" I put my arms out, as he got up and limped over to me, laughing.

"I love you so much Camryn." He hugged me tight. Now was the time to tell him about the ball thingy.

"Luke, this woman came in and told me I had another wish, and well I said since I have three days left," A tear fell from is right eye, but I continued. "I, uh said I wanted to go to this party I planned at the Costana ball room in L.A. If you could call these people on this list," I grabbed a list from my purse on the hospital dresser and handed it to him. "That would be great. All of them are people who are invited, and you can tell the boys at home too. It's tomorrow at 7pm to 10pm." He looked down at the list and smiled. I only invited like 40 people to a place that can fit 300. 

"Anything for you darling." He sat on one of the chairs near my bed and started calling.
