Chapter 10:Telling The Truth

Alyssa POV

I quickly checked to see if my phone was broken. How could I be so stupid, but I don't care I need something to take my Anger out on. I quickly checked and my phone was smashed all over and wasn't turned on. Great now it needs repairs. ATM I can't contain my anger and upset, how dare my dad try to come back into my life, ask me to be a bridesmaid and treat him with respect? I don't even want to think of him as my dad as he's such a disappointment to me and I don't see him as a father figure. When he left my mum was just in a state and I can't forgive him for what he did to her. I realise that I'm full on sobbing and my mascara is in disgusting black clumps. The day that could have been perfect with Luke has now turned into a nightmare.....

Luke POV

Alyssa left the room about 7 minutes ago to take a phone call, what's taking so long?! I hear loud sobbing coming from from the other room and I quickly rush. When I enter I see Alyssa curled up on the floor crying her eyes out and I run to give her a hug

Alyssa POV

Luke comes in and realises me on the floor and brings me into a hug that lasted for about 10 minutes of me crying onto his t-shirt. I finally stop crying and realise there's a massive wet patch of my tears that makes me laugh. All this time we've been hugging and I haven't even explained.

"Luke, my dad just phoned.... He removed himself from our lives when I was 15 and hasn't been in contact since. Now he calls me up and expects me to be a bridesmaid?! Is he crazy?! I don't even know who he's marrying, probably some random girl around my age. I got really angry and my phone is kinda....Broken" I explain

"Oh.... Alyssa I'm so sorry to hear tht I never knew, and don't worry about your phone I can get that fixed for you"

"Well maybe if u stayed in contact with me over these years you would've known" I say in a rude tone

"I guess it's time for me to explain now.... The whole reason I invited you over is because I wanted to ask you out"

"ASK ME OUT???, you must be crazy!! Why would I go out with you just because you're in a popular band and plus I'm still waiting for an explanation about what has happened over these past few years"

"Okay.... let me explain Alyssa it's really complicated though......."
