It all started with the book signing

Prologue

 - Lanie! We'll be late if you don't get your ass out of the door. - I shouted into her  apartman. We will meet our favourite, well maybe my favourite author. - Okey girl chill down. We won't be late. - she said in a clam voice while we were getting into the elevator. Luckily there wasn't any traffic therefore we get there in a good time. At the mall I saw him and I couldn't get my eyes of off him. He was ruggedly handsome. - You have a big crush on him. - my best friend winked at me. - No, I have not. - I was trying to deny it. - Kate, I know you. Don't lie to me. - she said while she was gave me her look. - Is that obvious? - I asked while we were getting closer to him. She told me the answer and we were waiting to get to him. I saw on his face that for him it's pretty boring. After half an hour I was in front of him with Lanie by my side. - Hey - we greeted each other, my voice was a bit exited, his voices was boring. - What's your name lady's? - he looked up from the table and look into my eyes. Those blue eyes...oh my god. They were enchanted me. No. Kate stay on the earth. - Kate. Her name is Kate Beckett. I'm Lanie. - Lanie answered insted of me. - Beautiful. - he smiled at me again and then signed my book. He signed one for Lanie too. - Thanks for coming. Hope to see you again, Kate. - he smiled at me and I'm frozed. A minute before he didn't care much about anybody but now he changed.  - If you wanna talk or something like that, we will be right there. - my friend was pointing at the restaurant next to the signing place. - Okey, see you two there. - he took a look on the line - I'll be there about twenty. - we didn't loose the eye contact until I have to left the place. - Are you crazy?! - I'm slapped out. - You mean " Thanks Lanie you are the best." I just got a date to you with that hot writer. Now, we will wait him and drink a cup of coffee, come on Beckett. - she dragged me into the restaurant and ordered our coffees. - He's late and it's almost five I have to get Mia from school. - After 30 minutes I started to get nervous. - Sorry I'm late. Who is Mia? - he threw his self in front of me.- God Castle you scared the hell out of me. - Castle? - he looked at me with a strange face. - Work habit. - smiled at him. - Don't worry I'll pick Mia up. Auntie Lanie will handle everything. - I wanted to say something but she got up and walk out. - So who is Mia? - he asked again. - She is my daugther. - smiled at him. - I have a daughter too. Her name is Alexis. - he smiled proudly. - How old is she? - asked him. - She is eight. And Mia? - he asked back with the same interest. - She's seven. - answered. We were sitting there more than two hours talking and laughing. He's got a humor and he was a bit arrogant and egoist. He is rich and he show it to everyone. After a lot of talking we ordered dinner. -Thanks for this afternoon. I really liked it. - he said while we walked out from the mall. - I liked it too. - I said. -  I was thinking, ahm.. may I get your number? I would like to repeat this if you don't mind it. - he was so nervous. It's made him cute.  Everytime he got a "oh it's sweet" situation he alwaysd joked it and I just gave him my look. But I think he can get a chance so I gave him my number and he walked me to my car. - See you soon, Castle. - smiled at him while I was sitting into my car. - Again, what is your jobb exactly? - he relied to my car. - I'm a homicide detective. - he got a huge smile on his face. I was watching him in the rear-view mirror while I was driving down on the avenue. I got home after a hour because of the night traffic. - Mommy!! - my seven years old was running into my arms and I picked her up. - Hey, peanut! - hugged her tight - Did you were good with auntie Lanie? - sat down with her to the couch. - She was an angel as always. - my best friend came out from the kitchen with a smile on her face. - Mommy I was waiting for you because I'm soooo hungry and I wanted to eat with you. - she said while she has a beautiful smile in her lovely face. - Oh, I'm so sorry baby, but I already had dinner. - a dinner with Rick Castle, our favourite writer, but she doesn't need to know that. Yet. - With that hot - Lanie, shut up! - cut her off before she can say anything. - With who? - Mia looked up at me with questioning face. - With a very kind man. - I stroked her face. - Is that man have a name? - she was smiling. - Rick. His name is Rick. - answered with a smile what I suddenly get of my face. I can' t even like him can I? - Aaand he got a last name too? - she was smiling like an idiot. -Okey, enough go wash your hands and let's have dinner. - she ran to the bathroom. - You like him a lot. - my best friend was mirroring the same idiot smile what my daughter had. - He's a kind guy. We got a great time together and he wanna repeat again. - a told to Lanie. - I'm fantastic! - she said dramatically while she stood up and got to the kitchen to set the table. After dinner me and Lanie sit on the couch to talk about my dinner partner. - So Rick Castle. - she strated. - He's a bit arrogant and egoist. And a bit irritating. But he's not that bad. He asked for my number so I gave it to him. - I told her the story. - Girl! Ya just picked up that hot writer. - she said with a huge smile on her face. - No, I don't. We just had a great time. If he calls me and takes me on a date and won't be a jackass, maybe then. Maybe then we can start dating. But if Mia won't like him or that fact that I'm dating then it's a lost axe. -then my peanut came to me and she sit into my lap. - Trust me she will like him. And you know why. - she give a her look then she went home and we went to bed. - Good night beautiful. - I kissed her had after I tucked her. - Good night mommy. - she smiled and embraced to me. Before I closed my eyes my phone vibrate, I got a message.
