Colors From The Fallen Raindrops

A Melting Time

"While we spend time growing up, we don't realize that they are growning old."

This quotation hit me. Our parent are the most wonderful gift we could ever had. This story is for them. So we can appreciate them and be thankful that they always stood before us.

The events are in random and not organized to make it a bit different.

"A Melting Time"

“My sons, please forgive me if I become a burden to you. I wanted you two to live a without worries. You have your own families now and I don’t want you to worry about me. I can take care of myself. I don’t want to be an additional problem to your lives. Always remember, I love you no matter what.”

“Yes, I saw this man. He’s right over there.” The lady said and pointed their father.

“Dad!” Joel shouted.

Their father was walking on the road but suddenly, a car accidentally hit him. He flew like a plastic bag and fell like a hard rock on the solid ground. The car didn’t stop to look what happened and it drove away.

“Dad, awake up!” Jio said while his father was lying on the ground, all bloody.

Joel and Jio cried and tried to wake him up but it’s no use. Joel tried to felt his father’s pulse but his pulse has stopped.

“I can’t bring him to my house!” Joel shouted.

“What makes you think he will be accepted by my family? My wife will be angry at me!” Jio answered back.

Their father heard their conversation. He lay down to his bed covered with a blue bed sheet and accompanied by a large pillow. He started crying and he thought no one will take care of him because his sons have their own families. So he decided to go away and went to some place where he will not be a burden.

Morning came, Joel and Jio found out that their father was gone and wasn’t in his room and Jio found a letter. He opened it and read it.
