back up plan (Jason todd sister)

"Mr todd. You have to understand.  We have no idea how she's still alive. The injurys she's sustained should've killed her. Her memory's fine. She can walk. She doesn't need any further treatment. It's a miracle." He huffed. Shaking his head. "Look can I take her home if that's the case. I don't want her here another second" after a small debate they let her go home.  He walked into her room as her and tim were cracking jokes about what had happened dick didn't approve. Jason frowned "What crawled up your ass and died dick?" He didn't say a word and just looked down at his phone "me and tim are making jokes about earlier. Dick doesn't approve. If you can't make the best of the bad what's the point?" Jason nodded. Before closing the door. "Right. You can go home. Apparently your at no risk" she accepted this and got up. "What are we waiting for then?" They looked around at eachother before they all left.

Timeskip.

Savanna woke up at 9 o'clock the boys decided to let her sleep late on account of her injuries. She rolled over lazily looking at the time. "Shit!" She got up shoving some clothes on  taking a look in the mirror before running downstairs. "Jay! Jason!" She ran into the study where him and dick we're reading "can you drop me somewhere I'm late" he frowned. "Your not going anywhere after yesterday." She ran her hands through her hair "please jay this is really important you can stay and watch. I don't care just please. I have to be there in 5 minutes" he looked over at dick before huffing "fine but dick is coming to help if anything happens" she had the biggest smile on her face "okay. Thank you" they rushed to the car. She gave directions and grabbed her bag rushing into a building. They followed. "What exactly is she doing here" they followed her into a room with a stage "your late miss todd" she ran over "I know I know I'm sorry" it was only then that Jason noticed everything was completely heald. He frowned and took a seat. She stood with a boy around her age. Music started and he begun to sing. His eyes widened. "Oh my god" dick looked at him raising an eyebrow "What?" Jason chuckled watching his sister. "She doesn't sing. She does. She has a lovely voice but I've never heard it. In person anyway. She gets embrassed. Dick watched. Savanna was in such a rush she had forgot her fear.

"You think it's easy... you think I don't want to run to you"

The moment she opened her mouth Jason raised his eyebrow. Dick was spellbound. He heard the words. They were very reminiscent to the ones she said yesterday. He moved forward in his seat

"But there are mountains and there are doors that we can't walk through."

Her voice was soft and steady she was confidant in the words she said. The boy she was with grabbed her hand as she turned away. His hands placed on her hips. His face in her hair eyes closed. Her face only showed sorrow as she sung.

"I know your wondering why, cause we're able to be who we are, you you and me within these walls."

Dick thought back to the nights they spent in her room. Sometimes just talking and watching TV.  Nothing but just there. Together

"But when we step outside your gonna wake up and see"

She broke away from her partner he kept hold of her hand as her voice raised Into the powerful words.

" that it was hopeless after all"

She sung it beautifully. Jason almost had a tear in his eye listening to her. The way she was so happy to be doing it

"No one can rewrite the stars. How can you say you'd be mine. Everything keeps us apart. And your not the when I was meant to find."

Her eyes met dick before she turned away. They were dancing as they sung. He spun her around as she moved further away.

"It's not up to you. Or up to me. As everyone says what we're meant to be. No one can rewrite the stars, say that the world could be ours, tonight."

Dick looked down feeling the words. Jason had noticed. He looked at dick "you feel it don't you?" Dick couldn't muster an awnser

"All I want is to fly with you
All I want is to fall with you
So just give me all of you"

The two sung together it was beautiful. Dick just nodded at Jason.  "Do you love her?"

"It feels impossible"
"it's not impossible"
"Is it impossible?"
"Say that it's possible"

Dick looked at Jason opening his mouth slightly "I don't want to be. I'm supposed to love kori. And she's your sister jay"

"How do we rewrite the stars?, Say you were made to be mine?, Nothing can keep us apart, 'Cause you are the one I was meant to find."

Jason looked from his sister to dick. Dick wanted to scream. He wanted her to be his. For it to be written in their stars. "That's not what I asked. Do you love her?"

"It's up to you, And it's up to me, No one can say what we get to be, And why don't we rewrite the stars?, Changing the world to be ours"

She was stood away from her partner their fingertips only just linked. She began to walk backwards very slowly. "Yes"

"You know I want you, It's not a secret I try to hide, But I can't have you, We're bound to break and my hands are tied"

She turned her back away from him. Closing her eyes. Dick got up walking to the doors. She turned around as the door slammed. She looked at Jason.  Who shrugged.  He was mad at himself for letting it get to him. She looked at the two men on the stage and apologied for leaving but chased dick
