You lived next door to the Parkers, and had done since before Peter moved in. Prior to his parent's deaths, you had been friends as you were the same age and only became closer when he moved next door. You practically lived in each other's houses, to the point where you had keys to their flat.

You let yourself into the Parker's flat to see May cooking.

"Hey Y/N," she smiled.

"Hi May," you smiled back. "Is it still okay for me to stay for the weekend?"

"Course, sweetheart. Peter's in his room; he said he'd make the top bunk for you."

"Thank you May."

With that you made your way to the bedroom that you had spent a lot of time in. You spent a lot of time staying over at their home for sleepovers or for whenever your parents went out of town for work, as they were this weekend. You were there so often that Peter's aunt and late uncle had bought him bunkbeds so that you had somewhere to sleep when you stayed over.

Making your way over to the bedroom door, you didn't even consider knocking on the door before opening. Once you saw Peter inside, you realised that you should have probably knocked first. It probably wasn't what you would imagine would be the shocking sight from a teenage boy's room that you'd walk into without knocking however it was probably significantly odder.

"Peter?" You questioned.

He turned around to look at you, his jaw dropping along with himself, from the ceiling.

"Close the door," he hissed.

You jumped into the room, closing the door behind you.

You never imagined that you would find your best friend hanging from the ceiling in a Spiderman costume.

"You're Spiderman?" You questioned.

"Let me explain," he said softly.

You gestured for him to continue but he seemed hesitant to explain what was happening.

"I... I am sorry," he sighed. "I wanted to tell you, but Mr Stark told me not to tell anyone."

"Tony Stark? He knows about this? Is that why you're doing the internship?" You asked.

Peter shook his head.

"I am not doing an internship with him, it was just a lie. I was helping Mr Stark fight Captain America," he stated.

"You fought Captain America?"

"Yeah, he was pretty cool actually and Mr Stark said he'd call if he needed my help, but he hasn't yet, which is cool, I've just been helping out around here," he shrugged.

It took you a moment to get everything to make sense in your head. Your best friend was Spiderman and you were thrilled.
