"Oh my goodness, Avan! This is beautiful." Esther exclaimed
"Isn't it. It definitely beats business or coach. Way more leg room. Not that you really have to worry about it" Avan chuckles and winks at Esther when she shoots him a glare.

"I'm glad we aren't seat buddies." Esther sticks her tongue out at Avan.
"Don't lie. You are gonna try and bunk up with me the second you get bored." Avan retorts.
"..................I hate that you're right..." Esther mumbles. Avan just laughs.

Within the first half an hour of the flight Avan is kicked back in his chair, knocked out. It's understandable because of how little sleep they got, but Esther is still a little upset because she was counting on Avan to keep her occupied on their flight. Now she's bored. She doesn't like any of the movies they have, she is tired of playing on her phone, and she's too excited to sleep.
"Ugh...I'm so bored." Esther mutters to herself. Just as she's about to put her headphones on someone beside her pops up and catches her attention.
"OOF! Me too..." the strange girl says.
She's really pretty, Esther thinks to herself.
"Sorry if I startled you...I'm Mina. Mina Song. I heard you say you were bored, as am I, and took this as an opportunity to make a new friend. Gosh you are pretty. Your skin is so clear!" Mina rambles on. Esther just giggles and quietly thanks her.

"Hi Mina. My name is Esther Rose. You are very pretty too." Esther introduces herself.
"So..what do you wanna do? We still have basically two hours on this plane and I'm so boooorreeddd." Mina asks Esther.
"Umm.. I don't know...what about why we are going to Korea..?" Esther suggests.
"Oh ok sure!" Mina exclaims. "I was invited for Seoul fashion week, it was last minute but I'm just happy to be invited. I'm so excited!"
"Omg Mina same! Me and my boyfriend were invited! Like literally this morning!"
"Wow that's so weird! Maybe we are meant to be best friends.." Mina suggests.
"Maybe." Esther laughs. "So, are you from Japan or..." Esther Begins to ask Mina.
"Uh no actually I'm from New York but I live in Japan right now. In Tokyo. It's super expensive tho so I think I'll move soon. To the countryside. What about you?" Mina explained
"Oh okay. I love New York I've visited many times. I am from Maryland. Not too far from New York a few hours. And same I live in Japan too. Just moved here about 3 weeks ago. Well one if you don't count our 2 vacation weeks. I live on the outskirts of Osaka. Not quite the country side but not in the city either. You are sooo right about Tokyo though. Me and my boyfriend looked at apartments there and they wanted astronomical amounts for key money AND rent. And they were just too small for those prices." Esther rambles on.
" oh my gosh I know right! $20,000 just so you can have the key in your hand! I thought living in New York was expensive I was flabbergasted when I did my research before moving here." Mina agrees.
"So Mina, are you Japanese or ...?" Esther asks unsure.
"Oh I am actually half Korean and half American. Korean mom white dad. But I liked anime and stuff growing up and so I created my own manga when I was 17 and sent it in to otaku USA and here is am! I help on new mangas and sometimes even anime's! And I got an internship at a gaming company so I am busy busy busy. So what do you do?" Mina explains excitedly.
"Oh that's so cool. I might have read some of your mangas. I have this app on my phone that gives me a new manga to read every week. Anyway I am a journalist and a photographer. Sometimes I model a little. And I'm an artist as a hobby." Esther says.
" omg. You are like a jack of all trades. I model sometimes too. But I usually am too busy with my work even though I can literally work on it from anywhere. If you don't mind me asking, how old are you?" Mina says.
Esther giggles "I'm 22. My birthday is July 22nd 1995."
"OMG SAME! WHAT THE HECK WE WERE DESTINED TO MEET! TO BE BEST FRIENDS!" Mina basically shouts.
" Omg that's crazy I've actually never met anyone with the same birthday as me. Weird.." they give each other the same look then Burst out laughing.
"Ok I think me not going to sleep at all is finally catching up to me." Mina yawns. Esther laughs.
"Ok see you at the end of the end of the flight"
