Megaman X Unleashed Revised

Chapter 3: Mazuri, Spagonia Redux and RiCO's Rescue

A/N: I know that the Egg Beetle boss fight and other daytime bosses(not counting the first boss in the PS3/360 versions) in Sonic Unleashed had Sonic just jumping and dashing right into Eggman and them while dodging all sorts of hazards, so I might have a bit of a hard time writing this one out somewhat differently. Keep in mind that describing battle scenes aren't my strong suit so if I'm not very descriptive when writing them down I deeply, heavily, from the bottom of my heart apologize for it. Of course I'll have to be very intricate with the nighttime boss fights too since they're full blown battles and are a lot different from the day bosses. Also I'm debating on putting Zero in the story but I just don't know where to add him.

I thought about making him show up in Holoska but it's too cold so I narrowed it down to either Shamar, Chun-nan, Empire City or Adabat but Adabat's kinda late so it's either Shamar, Chun-nan or Empire City. I'll pretty much just cross that bridge when I come to it. I also thought about putting Vile in as well but scrapped the idea since I couldn't come up with any scenarios for him, but I did have one in mind for Zero though. I originally had Iris in place of Amy but replaced her with RiCO from Megaman X Dive just to find some place to add her in this story. Be prepared this chapter is a bit longer than the others so read to your heart's content.

The sight at the village was a different one to say the least. When the fairy and the Maverick Hunters arrived last night, there weren't any Mavericks or robots terrorizing the village but now that's changed. There was a small platoon of them being led by Sigma who was possibly searching for the temple located somewhere on the continent, and the villagers were none too happy with the uninvited guest.

"Wh-Who are you?!" One of them asked which caused Sigma to laugh at him.

"Fear not, my good villagers! If you all behave, I won't have to resort to anything nasty. All you have to do is tell me where the Temple of Terra is and I'll be on my way."

One kid picked up a rock and threw it at the reploid, "We're not telling you anything, baldy!"

A robot laughed at Sigma after he was stunned from the hit and saw stars, but was silenced as soon as he regained his composure then glared at the Mazurians. The elder made the others back up unless Sigma tried anything.

"So you dare to defy me, do you?"

He couldn't do anything unfortunately, as a metallic blur of blue rushed in and destroyed the Mavericks and robots which turned out to be none other than Megaman X with Ninian trailing behind him.

"Wh-whaaat?! X!" Sigma screeched and pointed a finger at his enemy.

"Yo, Sigma," the Blue Bomber greeted, sarcasm lacing his voice as he spoke while slamming a hand into his other fist. "Thanks for that little skydiving adventure the other day!"

"I should have known you'd still be alive, you stubborn blue hunter!"

"What are you doing out here?"

The taller reploid waved him off before departing, "I see no reason to tell you! If any case, I'm busy. Farewell!"

"Wha-? Hey! Wait! That's playin' dirty!" The girl yelled while trying to get the caped robot's attention but he was long gone. "Come baaack!"

"Just ignore him, Ninian," X said with an annoyed face and crossed arms before checking on the villagers to see if they were harmed or not. "Is everyone here all right?"

They nodded and gave a few thank yous and were grateful for the Maverick Hunter's help. Some even gave him and his fairy friend gifts for saving them too and had even told him where the continent's temple was located. Axl had witnessed what happened and wanted to help, but he knew that the other green eyed hunter had it covered. So he stood back to collect some info as X took off to find the Temple of Terra.
