When you woke up, you were planning to sleep in for the day until you got a message on your phone.

You didn't have any pets but dogs always seemed like fun, so getting to play with a dog now would probably be one of your few encounters with one for the rest of summer.

As soon as you stepped outside, a blast of heat struck you in the face. With a sigh, you decided to make your way over to the grocery store first for some ice cream.

You heard a small chime as you entered and quickly making your way to the frozen foods aisle, you grabbed three melon bars since Jisung said before that Seongwoo would be there.

As soon as you purchased the snacks, you ran toward the CRUSH ON YOU building before the heat melted everything.

Jaehwan saw you running over as you neared the open space and walked you to the room Jisung and Seongwoo were at.

When you walked in, you saw them and handed them each a melon bar. And as soon as you sat down, the dog walked over to you and stopped in your lap.

Examining the room, you noticed the crumbling walls, padded chairs, and a small stack of MAD magazines.

"Thanks for the melon bars, Y/n!" said both Jisung and Seongwoo.

"Ah it's no problem! I figured we'd all need it in this miserable heat," you explained.

For a while the dog seemed pretty sleepy, only moving between the three of you. But after a while it started to move around more.

Switching spots from the cushioned seats to the floor, flipping through the magazines, time passed pretty quickly.

Eventually bored from the pages, all three of you got up. "Should we walk the dog around here?" Jisung asked. You and Seongwoo looked at each other and nodded your heads in unison.

You decided to grab the leash first, attaching it to the dog's collar. Exiting the room first, the dog led you outside. You passed by Jihoon and Woojin, who tried to pick up the dog.

And they were successful for the most part, when Jihoon grabbed the dog by the body and Woojin took the leash from your hand.

"HEY COME BACK HERE!"

"Please give him back.."

"Jihoon, do you want dinner tonight or not?"

At that statement Jihoon's eyes widened and released the dog who walked over to you.

Continuing to walk around, the dog leading all three of you around the building and whatnot.

"Hey Jisung, why do you like taking care of the others so much?" you asked.

"Well technically I-"

"He's like the mom." Seongwoo blurted out, not so thoughtfully.

"LIKE I WAS SAYING..." Jisung began again in an angry tone. "technically we all voted for a leader, so when I was chosen, I felt the need to be the one to take more responsibilites. The one they can always talk to or rely on. They're practically my second family. And I want to be there for them no matter what happens to us."

You're eyes began to water a little from Jisung's explanation. 'He's so caring.'

"Y/n are you alright?" Seongwoo asked when he noticed you're swelled up eyes.

"Yeah I'm good, my eyes are just a bit sweaty," you smiled.

After the dog was tired out from walking for another half hour, you guys agreed to just let it sleep on one of the chairs.

Outside, Jaehwan and Daniel were talking to each other, joking around. When they saw Seongwoo approach him it was like he had been there the entire time.

Jisung saw you looking at their smiling faces-laughing at each other's jokes. "Hey Y/n, you should go join them. You like hanging out with us, right? They like you, don't worry."

"Thanks, Jisung." So you went up to the trio. "Hey Jaehwan!, Daniel!" They both smiled at your energy.

"Was mom giving you life advice over there?" Daniel giggled jokingly.

"Shut up don't disrespect your mother." you retorted back.
