It was a peaceful day.

Alana smiled to herself as she opened the fridge, humming along to a tune she had heard while eating lunch yesterday, the catchy tune stuck in her head as she took some eggs out of the fridge. Small, lighthearted chatter filled the living room as the clink of metal on porcelain became a common sound among the hideout. It was a pleasant sound, a good change from the shrilling siren that rang through the hideout.

Ever the Defenders defeated Dr Blakk, and the Slugterran Defenders Organization had officially been set up by the Shane Gang, Defensores Antris and the government, distress calls have been on an all time low, besides a distress call that led them to discover the Goon. The newest member of their team, Junjie, had started to trust the gang more ever since Ally had introduced him to everyone, starting to make more small conversation with the group. Ally told them that she and Junjie trained together before he was possessed by Ataro, and that they were best friends. Though, the way she looked at him gave Alana other ideas.

Her thoughts were interupted as she felt strong arms slither around her waist, hanging there loosely as a head leaned on her shoulder sleepily. She smiled as she recognized the chocolate brown mop of hair from the corner of her eye, catching a glimpse of his drooping, azure blue eyes.

"Morning, baby." Leo sleepily muttered, and she let a smile creep up to her face as he hugged her slightly tighter, a drowsy haze all over him, as if he was just drifting out of sleep. A smile spread on her lips as she leaned back slightly towards her boyfriend, and he smiled.

"Morning, Leo." She greeted as she cracked another egg into the bowl, adding salt and pepper as she stirred the mixture, careful not to let any of the mix spill from the sides of the bowl.

"You look cute today. I like the bun." He complimented with a smile, poking at the bun, fiddling with it before his hands found their way back on her waist.

"Thanks, love, but besides the hair I look the same as always." She responded as she placed the mixture down. She turned on the stove, and a warm fire sprouted from the stove. She placed a skillet on it, adding two table spoons of butter, shifting it around with a wooden spatula.

"You look cute everyday." He stated, burying his face into the crook of her neck. She couldn't help but grin uncontrollably at the statement as she poured in the mix, the eggs starting to form as she mixed them around.

"You sound tired." Alana stated as she spread out the butter, the grin still stuck on her face. Nowadays, her mornings were spent like this: in Leo's embrace, pleasant chatter along with the glow of Lumino Crystals filling the hideout, the sound of running water from the bathrooms. She loved it.

"The bed felt colder without you, it isn't nice. So I came here." He told her as he shifted his head, so his chin rested on her shoulder. She couldn't help but smile as she remembered what happened yesterday, how they came home late from a date they had planned together, how no one was awake to see as they made out furiously on the couch, giggling as they quickly ran to the room they shared when they heard Junjie's room door open, locking their door before they fulfilled each other's wishes and desires, falling asleep in each other's embrace.

"Did you think it's because you slept with only boxers on?" Alana asked amusedly, and Leo was silent for a while as he pretended to think about it.
