The whole time I was really not paying attention. They were happy as hell, fully smiling at the sight of each cut and gems of the dresses.

My God, I almost forgot about him.

“Ang pangit kasi nung design nung akin. Actually, lahat pangit. They’re paying for this service? Look, it’s not as good as they were saying in their advertisements.”

I remained calm and waited for his response. To my surprise, he just laughed.

“What’s funny Lance?”

“Hahahhaha. Sorry but … hahhaha.”

I glared at him. What’s the problem of this man, it isn’t even a joke.

“Halata? What are you implying Mister?”

“Don’t deny it Candice.”

“Don’t deny what?”

He was very unpredictable. He touched my face and smiled. Wait, why is he smiling at me?

“You’re jealous!”

“What?”

“You’re jealous to death Candice.”

Inilayo ko ang tingin ko sa kanya. Ok, I’m guilty. I’m jealous. I want to destroy all these dresses. Burn it, if possible. And I want to grab Edward’s hand and run away. I’m jealous like a lunatic.

“Hey, look at me Candice.”

Upon hearing him, I immediately looked at him. Something was wrong with him. Bakit pa siya nakangiti?

“Err, you’re creepy.”

“And you’re jealous.”

“Stop, okay? I’m not!”

“But you are.”

“I said I’m not.”

“Ok!”

Then he walked away. Maybe that’s one of his pranks na naman.

“Hey Sheila and Bea!”

Bakit nag-walk out yung boyfriend mo?”

“I’ve done nothing, ok? Wag nga kayong bias sa’kin. Wala naman talaga akong ginawa.”

“Talaga lang ah.”

“Wala nga. You need to trust my words sometimes Bea.”

Ok. I’m being arrogant here. I can’t even make myself trust her of my secrets. Forgive me Bea.

“Enough, Bea and Candice.

I knew what Sheila was implying.
