The sun was so bright today.
Or maybe it was the fact that Steve hadn't been out of his house for a week or so.

"Finally, your skin was becoming pale" Bucky muttered. They walked into the garden, which was an entire field.

"I don't know how I'm going to do this.....I don't want to marry him!"
"You have to, it's the family company. You'll loose everything"
"Why did dad's last wish have to be this?!"

He was angry....no, more like surprised.
Tony Stark.

He hated his guts. The guy was always the center of attention, always winning the awards and scholarships, not to mention everyone's hearts. He made the school rank number one!

All Steve did was take the sport teams into championships and win every single game.
No one cared for that, only his father and best friend.

"It won't be all that bad"
"Yeah, we totally wont try to kill ourselves on our first date"
"Date? That doesn't have to happen"
"How else am I going to get him to fall in love with me"

Bucky smirked, "just tell him"
"What....as in...but I can't...the letter said I couldn't"

"What?"
"In order to pay off his debt he can't known otherwise he won't let me"
"Oh"

"Yeah, oh" Steve ran a hand through his greasy hair. He should really take a shower.

"We should start tomorrow, the sooner the better"

Next day.
September 12.

Steve planned things out.
He put on his best outfit, which was his black jeans and leather jacket.
He made his hair a bit messy and topped it off with sun glasses, he looked hot.
According to Peggy.

Peggy knew about this of course.
She, unlike Tony, was the love of his life.
The one he truly wanted to marry.

She was ok with it, seeing it wasn't something real and would end quickly.

"Peggy, before I do this....act. I want you to know I love you. You are the only person I would want to really marry and start a family with....ok, remember that"
"Yes sir, I love you too" she smiled, she wrapped her small thin arms around his waist that making him beam with joy.

Then it began.

They opened the doors to the library where Tony usually spent his mornings.

"I'm done with you Steve! Move on!" Peggy shouted, she made sure to use her best angry pose.
"I'm done trying my best for you, you don't think anything is good enough! All you do is compare me to these fantasy models you dream about" he argued, all though each word he yelled hurt him.

"You clearly weren't trying your best" she snapped, and finally, for the finishing touch she slapped him. Hard.
"Goodbye Rogers, have a great....if you want to call it a life"

"Woah. Peggy Carter just broke up with Steve Rogers!"
"No way! Does that mean he's available"
"They were such a good couple"

"Everyone shut up!" Someone yelled, Steve knew that voice very well.

Tony Stark.

He turned around expecting his full attention on him with a look of pity, instead he received a glare with a look of annoyance.

"Look Cap, Why of all places did you have to start your little drama here?! Why don't you and miss Peggy go make up in one of the restroom stalls"

Cap, he hated that nick name.
He got it when he was elected captain for his soccer team.

Instead of the name Captain being something amazing and successful, Tony turned into a taunt and punishment.

"Just ignore him" Bruce muttered.

Bruce Banner, also known as Tony's best friend. He was ranked number 2 at school but they were really the same. His girlfriend was the popular cheerleader Natasha, a beautiful red head.

He guessed Tony and Bruce had a thing for red heads.

This was the most important part of the plan, he had to pity Steve so they could become....friends.

He swallowed his anger and forced a smile, "Bruce, please, Tony can't ignore me"

He walked to their table which was isolated. People knew better then to mess with them. They had papers filled with work while their laptops had files downloading.

"Need any help" he attempted, a terrible shot.

"I don't think your brain is this advanced"
Steve deserved that, he practically set himself up.

"Tony, I wasn't coming to break up with my girlfriend in front of everybody...I don't want to humiliate myself" lies, "I originally wanted to talk to you"

Tony yawned and rolled his eyes, "I don't tutor".
"No, I don't need that....I want us to be friends"
"Yeah and I have a flying suit"

"Hey sorry I'm late" Pepper came in running, her red hair was wavy today. She wore her blue skinny jeans with a tight red shirt that showed to much cleavage. Steve hated that.

"Pepper" Tony's face changed immediately, he got up and pulled up a chair for her.
"Thanks" she smiled. Steve grew angry, he was supposed to be the one with Tony's attention.

"I'm sorry Bruce, but I did bring that document I promised" she took out a stack of papers placing them in front of Tony.

In Tony's eyes Pepper was.....perfect. She was smart, funny, attractive...and....beautiful.
He was lost in her beauty but was interrupted with the feeling of someone watching him.

He turned around facing Steve drilling hoes into his head with his eyes.
"Run along Goldie Locks, the adults are talking"

Pepper laughed as she took a seat, "it's alright, maybe he just wants to get to know you"

"The feeling isn't mutual" he once again shut down Steve's attempt.

Pepper couldn't help but laugh again.

"Whatever Tony! I try to end this feud between us but you just can't stop can you!"
"Look, I never wanted to end it, so can you please exit the library. I thought it clear that this was my territory, I don't cross your fields"

"Tony" Bruce muttered.
"I think it's best if you leave Steve" Pepper said politely, she got up and lead him to the entrance.

"Wait.....allow me" Tony stated loudly, not because he wanted to, because he didn't want Pepper alone with Steve.

A small smirk formed on Steve's face.
