I've been texting Devan all day but he hasn't responded since yesterday.

"Mom I'm going over to the Keys!"

"Okay honey! Have a good trip," said Mom while giving me a kiss on the cheek.

I drove up to the driveway and parked my car.

Going up the steps the front door opened immediately.

"(y/n)! You're here. We need you." said Collins grabbing me and pulling me inside.

"What's up? Why hasn't Dev texted me back?"

He frowned, "That's what I wanted to talk about. He's been really depressed thinking he isn't good enough and we can't get him to get out of his room."

I gasped, "What?! Oh my gosh! I'm going up there right now."

I climbed up the stairs and headed to his room.

I knocked softly and heard a noise but no words.

Opening the door, I saw Devan laying down on his bed.

I sat down next to him and rubbed his back.

"Baby? Please talk to me."

"I c-can't," said Devan turning towards me.

I started tearing up at the sight of him, he had messy hair, red swollen eyes.

"Oh, Devan! What's going on?"

"I just don't feel good enough. My paintings have been really bad. And I feel you don't love me anymore." said Devan

"Devan you will always be good enough for me. And I will never stop loving you because you're my boyfriend. And every artist has a time where they can't paint, but that doesn't mean I won't love you!"

I kiss him and he kisses me back.

"Thank you, baby. I feel a little bit better," said Devan smiling.

"I'm glad babe. Can I join?"

He nodded and moved to the side.

I climbed inside the covers with him and cuddled.
