I laid on my bed, reading a book when I heard my mom call me.

"Coming!" I yelled while putting my book down.

I walked down the hallway into our living room and saw my mom sitting on the sofa.

"What's up mom?"

"Please go get the mail for me." said my mom

"You were closer to the mailbox then me..."

"Hey don't talk back! Please go get it." ordered my mom

I groaned and walked out of the house. I opened the mailbox and saw a red envelope with my name in big letters.

I quickly opened it and it read "turn around." I got scared so I quickly turned around and Devan stood there with balloons.

"Devan?! What are you doing here?"

"(Y/n), ever since I laid my eyes on you I fell in love. You're different than any girls I ever liked. Will you be my girlfriend?" asked Devan

I started tearing up and nodded, "Y-yes I will!"

Devan smiled and gave me a big hug, "I promise I won't ever hurt you baby girl."
