"Hey guys, I think I found a place that's decent." Dave announced to the other five. They had been walking around for hours now, just trying to find a place to stay at.
They walked up the place Dave had found and saw that it actually was in very good shape for a house that got broke down by a blast more deadly that an atomic bomb. The house looked bad of course, but from first inspection, it seemed like all the rooms were in contact with each other and wouldn't be falling down anytime soon.
"Let's check the inside, just in case there's something wrong with it." Mike said in more of a demanding way than suggestion it. They all walked into each room and saw that it was way better on the inside than it was outside. There were a few broken pieces of the ceiling on the floor here and there, but nothing too bad, and the furniture was in great shape too.
"So, is this place good?" Rob asked.
"Of course it's good!" Mike said, not really meaning for it to come out the way it did, but didn't care either. "We'll stay here and repair it some. I'm gonna head out and see if I can find supplies. You all stay here." Mike walked up to Chester and gave him a quick kiss and said, "You and Brad are in charge. Okay, sweetheart?"
Chester nodded, not really wanting to be in charge, but didn't want to say anything to get Mike upset. Mike had left after he said his goodbyes to everyone.
Now the other five were sitting around, waiting. Brad and Chester sat on the couch, Joe and Dave sat on chairs scattered around the room and Rob laid sprawled out on the floor. "I can't believe we destroyed the world." Brad stated, breaking the long silence that had surrounded them ever since Mike left.
"You guys didn't do anything." Chester mumbled, thinking back on what happened. That energy he felt. It was so good. Mind blowing good. But it was disgusting. It led him to become what Mike basically is. A murderer. Not just of a few places though. Of the whole planet. Chester would never get over this, and he was most likely never gonna forgive Mike.
Yes, you will. That damn voice... You always forgive him and you'll forever forgive him. Does that make sense to you?
Fuck you.
"I'm the one who destroyed it." He looked at the two guns that belonged to him. He hated them, but they felt right whenever he held them. It felt like they should've been there forever, never able to detach from his hands and slip through his fingertips.
Everything that Mike did to him made him want to hate himself. He looked like a freak whenever he was under Mike's control, and he will never be able to get used to his tongue being split into two at the tip. He always heard that voice dragging him towards Mike's mercy, and it seemed that he was willing to give up his free will to his young lover.
God, can Chester even think of him as that anymore? His lover? His boyfriend? The one who he's been wanting to spend the rest of his life with? It didn't seem like the thing he should do. His brain knew that, but his heart couldn't get that memo, melting every time he saw Mike and heard his beautiful voice.
He wish he could just go back to when he found the cube and leave it alone, but now they were in this situation. He couldn't blame Mike for that one though. It wasn't Mike who sent out the wave that ruined everything in exist... Minus the six of them of course.
"Chaz, don't be too hard on yourself. Mike's the one who started this whole thing anyway." Rob commented from off the floor.
"He dragged all of us into this and ruined our lives." Joe said.
"Took away some of our freedom and normalcy... Well, all our freedom and normalcy." added Dave.
"All of this is Mike's fault if we're being honest with ourselves." Brad said. "But we're also to blame in ways. We're the ones who agreed to help, then he had to get you involved."
