"We need a cute little saying." Chester said, turning his head to smile at Mike. They were laying in a hammock together outside their backyard, just letting time pass by as they watched the clouds go by. Today was the last warm day of fall before it started to get colder and they wanted to make it worth it by spending it outside instead of in the house.

"What?" Mike laughed as he continued staring up into the sky, not believing the question that came out of his boyfriend's mouth. A cute saying? Why do they need that? They already had names for each other and they did many cute things like holding hands and the thing they were doing right now, which was basically cuddling.

"A saying. You know, like, how couples have these little things they say to each other. Like 'I love you to the moon and back.', but something more original? I've always wanted something like that. I think it would bring us closer."

Mike looked into Chester's beautiful, glowing brown eyes. They had been dating for not too long now. About ten months. He just kept falling more in love with Chester each day. The way he talked, smiled, laughed, felt... Chester was just perfect to Mike in every way possible. He was the man of his dreams and so much more. He never wanted to leave the older man's side. "How can we get much closer than we already are?"

Mike had a good point. They never left each other's side since they had started dating. Chester moved in with Mike immediately after they become a couple. When one left to go somewhere, the other would follow. They had told each other their deepest, darkest secrets and they knew when something was wrong with the other. They've had sex numerous times already, but they recently decided to cut down on it because Mike was scared he'd end up going to rough on the older man so many times and damage him. They cared for each other more than anything. A little saying wasn't really gonna bring them closer.

"I don't know, but we'll never know if we don't try right? And it'll probably come in handy if one of us ever gets sad or we start to question our relationship."

Question our relationship? Mike highly doubted that that would ever happen, but this is something Chester seemed to want though, so Mike decided to go with it. "You have anything in mind then? Because I sadly don't."

"No." Chester admitted while snuggling up to Mike and closing his eyes. "I was hoping you'd be able to think of something. You're better with cute stuff than I am."

Mike grinned and gave Chester a kiss on the top of his head. "We'll think of something sooner or later, I promise."

"Thanks, Mike."

"You're welcome, Chazy."

Chester had drifted off to sleep afterwards, and Mike stayed there with him, holding him while trying to think of something.

Mike walked up to the casket in the little old church that the guys were in earlier and looked down at the cold corpse of his boyfriend. It hurt to see him this way. They had dressed him up in a long sleeve shirt with the sleeves rolled up to show those gorgeous flame tattoos, a black sleeveless zipped up vest with a hood attached to it, black skinny jeans unzipped at the end with a black leather belt and black and white sneakers. This was the nicest clothing they could find for him at the last minute, and it looked great for him. They even found black gauges to put in his ears, a black bracelet for his left arm and they put his glasses on him.

Mike took out a small box. He opened it up and took out the engagement ring he was gonna give to Chester. It was just a simple silver ring and engraved on the inside were they're first, middle and last initials and the day they got together. He took Chester's left hand and slipped the ring onto his finger. "I love you, Chester." Mike whispered, trying his hardest not to break down crying in front of the few people there, which was Dave, Rob, Brad and Joe. He didn't care if they were his best friends in the whole world, he couldn't let them see him like this again. "I really love you. Remember that, please?"
