"Is everything okay?"
Seungmin was about to respond, but saw that Jeongin was typing and stopped.
"Did you and Hyunjin get in a fight or something?"
Seungmin chuckled softly. Throughout the long years that they have been friends, never once have they fought. No one ever believes the duo when they say this. He looked down at his sleeping friend and smiled. Leaning down carefully as to not wake Hyunjin, he took a selfie with sleeping teen.
He sent the picture to Jeongin and added, "Does it look like we got in a fight?" after.
"No."
"But what I did want to talk about with you does involve Hyunjin."
"Continue."
Seungmin bit his lip before typing out his next response. Every time without fail, Seungmin will get shy talking to others about his relationship with Hyunjin. Even if that person is his close friend Jeongin. "Who asked about Hyunjin and me?"
Quickly Jeongin replied. "Han Jisung."
Looking at the text confused, Seungmin typed out his response. "Why did he ask?" If Jisung wanted to know he could've easily asked either of the two, but to go to Jeongin for the answer was what confused him the most. Yes, Jeongin knew anything about anyone in the school, but why him? To Seungmin's knowledge, the two have never spoken to each other. That is, before today.
It took a moment for Jeongin to respond. Seungmin knew that his friend was weighing his options and the outcomes to pick the best for everyone. Finally, he responded. "He said that a friend of his was asking. Something about wanting answers about whether or not you two are dating or whatever." This was the truth after all. Jeongin hadn't lied to Seungmin, yet.
"Did he say who asked?" Seungmin was hoping that he would get a name, but if Jeongin decided it wasn't his choice to say, then Seungmin will just have to accept that.
Another long pause followed Seungmin's text. He was getting more anxious waiting for Jeongin to respond. What if this someone was capable of taking Hyunjin away from him? Shaking his head, Seungmin sighed at the thoughts of Hyunjin leaving him.
"Stop being so damn clingy. So, what if someone else becomes close to Hyunjin? You can't control what he does. You aren't even dating, so why does it matter to you?" Seungmin muttered softly to himself.
The light of his phone pulled Seungmin out of his thoughts.
"He didn't say who. Just that someone was wondering and wouldn't leave him alone about it. That's why he asked me. He just wanted to be left alone about your guys' relationship." Liar. Jeongin remembered what Jisung said earlier about not mentioning Minho. Weighing his options, he found that lying was the best one. Not only would he be respecting Jisung's request, but he also wouldn't be hurting Seungmin in anyway. That is as long as he doesn't find out he lied.
Seungmin hates it when people lie. He's an angel on Earth as long as you don't lie to him. Once you do, consider yourself doomed. That kid could hold a grudge for years on end if he felt it was needed. Granted, Jeongin has lied to him before. The only reason that Jeongin is still his friend is because of Hyunjin. Hyunjin comes up with some logical reasoning to support Jeongin's reason to lie. And since Seungmin trusts Hyunjin with his life, he accepts it.
Sighing, Seungmin turned his phone off and set it down on the couch by his leg. He got an answer, just not the one he wanted.

Woojin looked at Chan with a weird look. "You haven't seen them together before, have you?" He asked.
Chan shook his head. Obviously, he hasn't or else he wouldn't be wondering whether or not it was the Jisung he knew.
