The time has finally arrived to rescue my mother. Marcus had instructed me not to drive as I needed to keep my energy and be well prepared.
We had filled three vans with weapons and explosives, I could just imagine what explaining we would have to do if we got pulled over by police...good job I owned them around here.

The snipers had reached Salvatores mansion first securing the area and let's just say all his neighbours had a free holiday to leave this morning.

To salvatores  disadvantage there was a lot of vantage points around his home.

We sent a car in through the front gate using his passcode. The car contained a gas explosion, once at a high speed the driver jumped out and the car plowed straight through the main entrance. The car exploded and I felt a slight remorse for anyone in the front lobby. We noticed the gas began to leak and the snipers also told us it was working and some began were already knocked out.
Safely securing our gas masks we infiltrated his house. Most men on the ground floor were knocked out, we added a bullet to there body's to make sure it stayed that way.
Soon an army of us made our way up the stairs.
Gun shots fired rapidly back and forth between my men and Salvatores Men.

It was purely a fight to the death.

I found my way along the corridor trying to remember where Xavier told me Salvatores office was.
A few men tried to match me while sneaking out of corners and rooms but they were no match for the quick motion on my finger pulling the trigger.
Once I cleared the corridor I made my way into the last door decorated with a careful hand made design, sleek oak with a nice polished coat.
I opened the door and perched holding a glass of whiskey sat Salvatore.

"Ah young Ezio, I heard you arrive. Nice to finally meet you"  he said to me

I smirked and took a step inside the room. "I suppose it's weird how I'm going to be the last thing you see yet it's only our first time meeting" I stated
He laughed sadistically
"Although I knew your mother well...very well indeed" he told me

My blood was beginning to boil
"I see why your father was so interested in her... she's very sexually appealing" he smirked
I raised the gun, arm straight and finer positioned perfectly on the trigger. A slight movement would cause his death.
"Where is she Salvatore?" I asked through gritted teeth.
"Most probably in my bed" he replied taking a sip of his whiskey.
In a swift movement I moved my arm pulling the trigger.
His whiskey glass shattered as the bullet easily passed directly though the centre of his hand.
"Ahh you son of a bitch...or should I say my bitch" he said wincing in pain.

My father then stood beside me proudly. "Stefano" smirked Salvatore while holding his hand trying to stop the bleeding.

"It's rather funny how events unfold don't you think? I mean you once tried to kill me yet you had mistaken me for my brother"  my father began. I hear his breath hitch at the word brother.

"You killed my parents Salvatore and your turned me and Antonio against each other. I hope you enjoyed the victory while you could because now  in the end you've lost and everyone  know your defeat. Goodbye Salvatore"

My father walked towards him and ripped the ring off his finger. The ring represent dignity and power, something he wouldn't have any longer.
"I'll wait for you in hell"  Salvatore snickered
I pulled the trigger and his neck jilted back. His arms flopped motionless to the side.
"I wouldn't count on it" i whispered.

"Let's go get your mother" smiled my father.
I nodded before we both put our gas masks on.
We wondered out the room while keeping our guard up. I then found the locked metal door.
This must be it. Remembering the pin that Xavier told me I typed in the code mounted in the wall before I heard a click and the door unlocked.
I slid it open slowly weary of what would be on the other side.
Finally being able to view the whole room I noticed the lady sat worried on the bed in a tight ball.
She immediately stood up and took one small delicate step towards me.

She didn't utter a single word and neither did I.
My father came and stood by the door slightly behind me, he aswell remained silent.
Slowly peeling off the gas mask I showed her mr true self.

She looked at me with a stiff stare before raising his hands do her face is disbelief.
"E-e-ez-Ezio" she stuttered as tears suffocated her checks.
"Yes... it's me" I said tears spreading to my eyes.
She ran towards me and grabbed my tightly. Her face against my chest and his arms strong around my waist as though she would never let go.

"I love you Ezio" she cooed quietly
"I love you too...mother" I told her.

The words didn't seem real. The moment felt like a dream. Yet there in my mothers arms I felt safe and complete, I felt like a small boy again.

I stepped back slightly and angled my body so she could see my father. After allowing us to have our moment he took his mask off.
Before I knew it she was in his arms and they were connected.
Right there and then is the moment I realised my family was united and we would be inseparable.
