The Diary

Chapter 10 

        ~

                        I felt the warm feeling on my check. I opened my eyes and looked at the balcony's door, that was slightly opened, which let a small breeze around the room, which made the curtain slightly move.

I smiled at the feeling, I love this feeling. Summer was only 3 days away and I was so exited. What story will this summer hold? I thought to myself as I slowly arose from my bed and rubbed my eyes so I can focus.

I went to my closet and wore something casual and went down stairs to get something to eat. I opened the fridge and saw that I was running out of food. Uh. I cooked something to eat and sat down and begun to swallow the delicious food.

When I was finished I went to go to the store that only was only a few minutes away. As I got out the door I saw that my neighbours across the street were moving out. Oh they were actually nice neighbours. I saw Miss. Haynes wave at me as she placed a box in the truck. I waved back and headed my way to the store.

I was listing to some music while on my way there. When I arrived I took my headphones off and placed them in my pocket. I begun to look down the aisle searching for wanted food. When I was finished I went to the line so I could pay.

As I was boringly standing there, I heard a voice from behind me. “Hey babe”. Oh hell no. even when I am grocery shopping. He really is a pain. I closed my eyes as my took a really deep sigh. I really didn't want his presence. “What?” I asked quite irritated.

“How are you” he said. “Well” I said really hoping this conversation would be over soon. It was finally my turn and I was finally happy that I would get away from him. As the girl finished my groceries and placed my items in a bag I paid, grabbed my bag and headed out the door while I said thanks to her.

As I walked out the door and begun walking back home, I felt a hand grab my wrist. I looked at the person who now was holding me. “I am going to see more of you know” he said while giving me a small smile. “See you soon” and with that he placed his black Ray Bans on, and left with a big smirk across his face, and chuckled a bit.

What was that all about? I asked my self, and what did he mean by seeing more of me. I didn't want to waste my time thinking of what he said. I just went back home. I opened the door and went in the kitchen. I placed the food were they are supposed to go and went in my room.

I got on my bed as I got a call from Lana telling me to go out with her. I took a shower and changed clothes. I saw that the house across was for sale now. I looked away and begun walking to the park were Lana was waiting for me.

I entered and sat on a bench waiting for her. Then I heard the gate open and saw her coming next to me. “Hey” “Hey” “Hey, so listen I wanted too tell you” “Yeah” “Zack is hosting a camping trip” “What?” “A Camping trip” “So..” “So he is our friend and as our friend he invited us to go with him” “Who else is there going to be?” I asked. “Well obviously our group, Zack, Me, You, Alley, Logan and Connor.” she said.

“Oh so our group basically?” “Yeah, but I don't know if may be Zack is brining someone else” “Oh okay” “So your in?” “I have to see” “Ok but please come you know we are going to have fun” “Yeah, yeah” “And still....” she said with a teasing tone.

I furrowed my eye brows at her. “And what?” I questioned. “There is going to be Logan” she said while shacking her shoulders. “So. Me and Logan are really close friends” I said the obvious. “Someone has a crush on you” “No he doesn't” I said.

“Um don't you see the way he looks at you?” she said if I was dumb. “I know how he looks at me and that look is of friendship” “Well you're seeing wrong. He likes you” “Well how do you know? Did he come tell you?” I questioned. “No..” “Ha” I said.

We continued talking for a bit and then I headed back home. I entered my room and went on my bed opening my laptop. I begun using it until I was tired. I went out in my balcony and sat on the white chair.

I begun looking at the street and some trees that where planted there. I smiled at myself. I loved this presence. A small breeze and the sun light hitting my face. I saw some people get out of a car and going in the house that was for sale.

I smiled at myself thinking who is going to be my new neighbour. I saw who looked like the land owners and a boy. As one of the people begun going around the house, boy stood still and I could only see his back.

He was tall with brown roots and blond tips. As I saw that he wore a jeans jacket that had no sleeves, I begun to imagine that he kind of looked like Niall. I slowly begun to rise from the chair and heading to the rails of the balcony resting my hands there.

As I continued looking the boy slowly begun to turn to me. He had these Ray Bans. Some piercings were present and you could see some tattoos. As he slowly begun to look around the street, his head begun turning upwards. And then his eyes landed on mine.

Even from those glasses I knew he was glaring at mine. A big smile came on his face and then the realisation hit me. No. He wasn't going to be my neighbour. That's why he said that in the grocery store.

His hand slowly made contact with the glasses and pulled then off. His smile only grew bigger. Those blue eyes still glaring at mine as he slowly pulled up his hand and shook it once.

I was not going to have him being my neighbour, but then again he had every right. Uh. This is going to be an interesting summer.
