The Diary
Chapter 37

 We were still at Ashton's house. The others laughing or drinking from there beer bottles making them more drunk. I just sat there looking at directly nothing, mind blank, just staring. Imogen currently had her head on Michael's shoulder, when laughing it falls on his chest, sitting comfortably on the couch a beer bottle in hand.

The others drinking, sitting down on the couch or when they got tired of sitting down they just laid on the floor. Ashton was still a bit sober and he noticed I was alone."Hey" "Hey" "Listen Hannah I-" but he was cut off by Imogen yelling. "Let's have a sleepover!"

Everyone cheered, and me and Ashton just stared at each other. I sat up. "I should go" "No, stay" "I don't want you to have a problem with me" "You? Hannah come on you don't make a sound compared to these guys" "Are you sure?" He slighty grabbed my wrist, holding it between his hands."Yes" I nodded. The others already begun moving the small table that was in the middle, to the side.

"Wait for me here" He said as he rubbed his hands to the sides of my shoulders. He came back with a stack of blankets. He placed them on the couch and everyone begun opening the nicely folded blankets. We placed them on the carpet making a big square and then everyone plopped on one.

They grabbed the other blankets and got them to cover them self, if they felt cold. The others already begun talking and would sleep any minute now. I searched for a place I could lie on, but I didn't actually find one.

Ashton came next to me. “Here, Let's add our own” he said with a small smile. I just nodded. The room was only lit with a small lamp, giving a nice yellow light to the room.

Ashton sat down on the newly opened blanket. He looked up at me and reached out his hand, smiling. I took his hand on mine and sat down on the blanket. When done I pulled my hand back from his.

“So um..” He said. I looked around and noticed the others sleeping, leaving me and Ashton the only one awake. “So” I said. “I'm really happy we met, you're a really great friend.” “Oh..Thanks” “We should really start hanging out, you know” “Um..sure”

“Great” he said happily. After that we laid down on the blanket, each having our side. We talked for a while longer then we drifted of to sleep. I begun dreaming and I didn't know what happened I sat up. All the sleep had drifted away and I was awake.

I looked around me to see if anyone was awake, but to my surprise everyone was sleeping. I just started thinking about everything again. I don't know why my mind hates me so much.

When my life gets better it keeps reminding me of my past. Everything till now. Luke's memories begun popping up and I couldn't help but let the tears fall, making sure I didn't make a sound, so I wouldn't wake someone up. To keep them muffled when I begun crying harder I just put the blanket near my mouth.

Why me? Why did I do wrong? I didn't want Luke to do anything to me. I was scared, terrified of him. And if I go to tell someone, possibly there not going to believe me. I'm all alone. If I do I think there gonna take his side, they have been longer friends with him then me.

They'll think I made that up so they would be sorry for me, be my friends. I just continued letting the tears fall. “Hannah?” I heard. I looked behind me and saw who the voice belonged to.

“Is that you?” I saw Imogen shift and sit up rubbing her eyes. “Yeah” I said. She begun getting to her senses and saw me. She quickly got up and made her way towards me. “Yeah Hannah what's wrong? What happened to you?”

“Oh Nothing” “Hannah this isn't nothing. You're crying your eyes out. Tell me what's wrong?” “I can't” “Why? Listen let's go somewhere else not here we'll wake them up”

We made our way to the bathroom, got in sat down and Imogen locked the door. “Hannah... Why were you crying like that?” “I can't say ok?” “Why not” “Because, because if I do, I don't know what will happen to me, possibly get hurt, badly. I don't want it to happen. I'm I'm being threatened not to say anything Imgoen.”

Imgoen took the information I just said to her. “What? By who?” “You wouldn't believe me if I told you” “Hannah who would do that? That's crazy thing to do, this person is crazy. Who would do that to you, you're so nice. And of course I believe you, you were crying your eyes out, for god's sake”

“Hannah tell me” she said rubbing the side of my back. “It's...it's Luke” “Luke?” I nodded, wiping away the tear. “He,he well” “Tell me everything” I told her when we were at the abandoned place what he did and this night at Ashton's.

“Omg” “I know” “That's why with all the glaring, and shesh harsh quotes he said to you” “Yeah I know” “Well leave him to me” “No!” I said. “No one can know or else you know” “But Hannah I'm not going to leave you like this. “Yes you are. I know I don't want to but I'm scared of what he might do. Imogen, he made it pretty clear” “But Hannah what if he actually has the time to do something to you” “I don't, I don't know” “Well I'm going to be by your side” she said. I smiled at her. “Thank you”

“So” after some time we changed the subject. “Ashton” “What?” I said. “What you think of him?” “What do I think of him?” “Yeah” “E.....” “Oh come on Hannah. Is he cute? Do you like him?” “I'm not gonna date again for now Imogen” “Ok, but at least tell me”

And at the right time we heard a knock on the door. “Guys you in there. Hannah is that you? Is someone with you? Are you ok?” “Oh um yeah were coming out.” We got up and made our way to the door. Imogen unlocked it and stepped out, turning back giving me a smile.

I walked out to see Ashton in front of the door. He gave me a smile. He looked cute his hair was a bit messy and his face still showed tiredness. “Are you ok?” “Oh yeah sure, girl stuff, you know talking” “Oh ok. I got worried, when I didn't see you on your side of the blankets.” “Oh” I said.

“Um wanna head back get some more sleep” “Sure I'm tired now” I said. “Ok be right there just gonna get something to drink. Do you want anything?” “I'm good thanks”

I made my way to the blankets laying down on them and closing my eyes. Ashton came shortly after. I was begging to drift to sleep when I felt being like hugged but then slowly the warmth pulling away.

After a while I felt a small kiss being placed on my forehead.
