The rain traced the windows as Axe turned to wrap his arms around my waist, bringing his face to my neck, nibbling slightly. A moan escaped my lips as his stubble roughly scratched my cheek, peppering kisses to my chin. My heart skipped a beat as his hands moved from my hips to my thighs, lifting me onto his desk before pressing his lips to mine in infamous need. The skirt of my dress rose to expose my legs as I leaned into him. Lust danced in his brown eyes as he leaned to whisper in my ear.
"You truly are incredible, Jeanie. Two days. Two days is all it fucking took." He pulled back, gaining composure before sitting in his chair, rubbing his hand over his short, buzzed hair.
"My brother told me about you, you know. He told me about his gorgeous assistant, how he thought I would like you, how you reminded him of a hotter, sweeter version of-" He stopped.
"Of who?" I asked, hoping he wasn't about to say 'my mom.'
"Ali." A sigh of relief came over me before anger built.
"You knew about me before I knew about you? What did he send photos or something? Jesus. Did you know I was a prostitute before I told you?" I was annoyed, to say the least. My paranoia and anxiety always got the best of me. Deep down, I knew Axe didn't mean anything by his comment, but, the jealousy and hurt snapped in my chest like a thundering rubberband, reverberating my insecurities through my veins. "You guys had full-on conversations about me? And he said I remind him of the bitch who fucked your best friend?" I scoffed, folding my arms.
"No, he said you were a hotter, sweeter version of Ali. Also, no, James only told me a little bit about you; you told me everything else. And, before you start going all snapped on me, let me tell you right now, he spoke of you with total respect and a little bit of curiosity. Nothing was negative, nothing was perverted." He leaned forward, his hands on either side of my waist.
"Fine. So, you knew about me. Why did you agree to hire me, then?" I asked, sighing a breath of anger out, trying to calm my nerves.
"I told you once, but I'll tell you again. You are not your past. Just because some guy fucked you over doesn't mean you deserve the life you've been given. If I can be part of giving any woman with a past like yours a second chance, I would, and here we are." He smiled, holding his hands out to gesture around him.
"What did you mean?" I asked, his eyes rolling.
"Damn, Jeanie, do I need to break it down for you. You. Are. Fuc-" I stopped him with my hand.
"I'm incredible, I got that, no, what did you mean by two days." I questioned, leaning towards him, placing my hands on his shoulders to catch his gaze.
"Two days to have me completely mesmerized. I swear; there's just something about you, Jeanie. You're captivating, absolutely captivating." He kissed me again, this time, much slower. Passion radiated from his hands as they cascaded around my back, pulling me into him.
"Axe, are you sure you want to do this?" I asked, pressing my hand to his chest softly.
"Oh, I won't be sleeping with you, today, Jeanie. You're far more special than that. I want to know you," He started, kissing my chin, "feel you," moving down my neck, "and embrace every aspect of you. So, no, Jeanie, I'm not going to just fuck you. I'm going to drink you in. I won't take it from you like Leo did, no, I'll earn it like a real man." His kiss swallowed the depths of my soul. I pulled him closer before moving myself to his lap, leaning into him.
His desk chair leaned back slightly before tilting behind us, crashing us both to the floor.
