"Wake up, Harry!" Ron shakes the sleeping boy awake, "It's our first day back at Hogwarts!"
Harry lets out a weary groan and stumbles out of bed. He was exhausted to say the least; all he could think about last night was returning to Hogwarts, his emotions ranged from excitement to angst.
Hermione walks into Ron's room, stressing about how they were going to be late. "Could you two move any faster? We are seriously going to miss the train."
"Relax 'Mione. We'll be ready in no time." Ron gives her a peck on the cheek, causing her to crack a smile.

The three, along with Ginny, arrive at the station and board the nearly-full train. All the rooms but one were taken.
"Here we are!" Ron says as he shuffles in the small space. "Told ya we'd make it." He shoots Hermione a smug grin.
"Barely." She retorts.

After about an hour of the bumpy, head-splitting train ride, they had finally made it to Hogwarts.
The four exit the train as they're greeted by the towering castle they called home.
"Can you believe it?" Hermione chirps, "only two more years... gonna miss it."
"Yeah..." Harry agrees.
Before they had anymore time to reminisce, a voice appears in familiarly snarky tone. "Well look who it is! The golden trio."
Draco.
Harry hoped for at least a day without Malfoy in his ear, but apparently that was too much to ask. "Piss off will ya, Malfoy."
"A bit feisty are we, Potter?" He says in a mocking tone. Pansy and Blaise snicker behind him.
"You slimy git, you better shut your moth or-" Hermione cut Ron off.
"He's not worth it." She says, not breaking eye contact with the Slytherin.
Draco scoffs as he and his posse strut away.
"Didn't miss him." Harry mumbles under his breath.
