Wowzers! Today, Corinne got her first fan-mail. In that heavenly delivery of precious stamped paper, she had received..her first...FAN-ART from a precious Corinne fan!
On the back, Corinne read the fan's letter:
I like Shrek too. You is my fave character on STAHP. You is good. You is Beyonce 2.0.
Corinne was greatly honored that her eyes began tearing up. Jena sat on a stool and stared at her STAHP cast with envy while they were opening their fan mail. Jena hadn't even gotten her first one yet. Jena sighed frustratedly as she ate her Ramen noodles.
"It's because I'm asian, isn't it?" She mumbled.
Jackson shrugged and said, "Maybe you're just a horrible director." He was opening his fifth fan-mail of the week and he smiled at what his fans had to say.
"Look guys! It's from one of my fans. I'll read it to you." Jena was positively sure he wanted to show off and rub his fan-mail all over her asian face.
"Ahem," he began.
"'You are such a darling little sweetheart. You are always fighting for your friends and you are such a great violinist that I tear up every time, and not because I'm currently cutting onions, but it's because you are a gifted little girl and I will never forget the way you've inspired me. My step grandchild loves hearing about you from me and she hopes to meet you one day in person. I know that you are constantly busy cheating on Itmund and eating berries, but I understand. I hope you got my mail because this nice young lady had sent it in for me and she is quite irresponsible.'"
Jose snickered, "Your fan called you a gifted little girl, you do realize."
Jackson frowned and thought, why do people keep thinking I'm a girl?
"To be honest, you act feminine," Helena added, but Jackson ignored her.
"Who was this from?" Rijul asked.
Jackson looked at the bottom of the note and shrugged, "Ehh..just some lady who calls herself..." he peered closer at the note, "...Peppermint step-granny and somebody named Corrine." Jackson shrugged and gently placed the mail onto his lap.
"That seems strange," Jena said. She sighed miserably, she hoped that somebody would send her some mail.
"That second name sounds familiar," Corinne said as she eyed the letter suspiciously.
"Hey Jena...I think this is yours," David said as he handed a freshly stamped envelope to her.
Could it be? Jena jumped in excitement when she realized that it was actually her mail.
She teared through the envelope and snatched the letter inside.
Jena was skyrocketing with joy and her joy began to plummet as she read the note out loud.
"'Try harder ☹️ .'"
Jena scowled and ripped the note into shreds then resumed with her lunch.
