Dear Dad,
I just wanted to let you know, you've missed out on a lot
You've missed out on my first steps
My first words,
My first day of kindergarten,
My last day of high school,
My first day of college,
You're also going to miss out on my first child
I feel like throughout my life I've struggled with finding who I am and who I wanna love because I've always wanted this love I could never have and that love was from you
I've learned that without the desire that you gave me to be better, I wouldn't be who I am today
And although you never noticed my straight A's, how I strived to be creative and think for myself and be independent
Even though you didn't notice any of that, a lot of people did
So, this letter is not for you
This is a happy Father's Day letter to my mom and my dad
aka my mom
And as much as I've desired to have that father figure in my life, the "dad"
You've always been that for me, as best as you could
And most of all you've noticed every single little thing
You've helped me become the person that I am.
So for that, I really love you a lot momYou are an amazing mother and an amazing father
Thank you, mom
