I hid behind the corner of the white concrete building we had just graffiti-ed. I tried to keep from laughing, as I heard people coming after us. We'd all split up, they would never catch us. If they tried, we'd just vanish. A chuckle escaped my lips at the thought and I slapped my hand to my mouth, silently hoping they hadn't heard me. A beam of light began coming closer. Great.

I hastily looked around. Spotting the others bolting down an alley, I tried to catch up with them. Fate, however, had another idea. All of a sudden I felt a gruff hand grab my wing. I spun around to see the king standing behind me.

"Azalea, we've been looking for you." My wings retracted in fear. "Do you realize how much trouble you've caused the rest of us here in Memeria!? Not only have you defiled one of our most historical buildings, you've caused fires! You've cast horrible angel spells on the citizens! What do you have to say for yourself young lady?"

"I...uh..."

"Well?"

"Sorry?"

"Sorry just isn't going to cut it this time. I'm afraid the only way to teach you is to send you away." He shook his head.

"Away!?" I protested, "To where?"

"To Earth, where the humans live. Maybe seeing and experiencing how difficult it is there will make you appreciate how good you have it here in Memeria." He sprung his wings and put his hand on my shoulder. "You will go home and go straight to sleep. When you wake up you will be in a world that is not your own. You will lose all your angel abilities until you prove yourself responsible enough to have them back. It is done!"

Next thing I knew, I was at home in bed, and I drifted off to sleep.
