I slowly opened my eyes. There was an aggressive throbbing in my head, and whatever I was laying on was hard and cool. I pushed myself up on my elbows, perplexed and astonished by my surroundings. Though my vision was a little foggy from the bump on my head, what I could make out in front of me was unlike anything I'd ever seen before. Dragging myself to my feet, I took a deep breath and brushed a blue strand of hair from my face.

Meandering the streets of this unknown place, I searched for anything that looked remotely familiar to what I was used to seeing. The buildings were different shades of brown and gray. Were they dirty? What kind of angels would allow their buildings to get so grungy and worn down? It was pretty revolting.

I noticed someone walking towards me. I panicked and tried to take my invisible form. I kept treading forward. He seemed to divert his direction and went around. I kept going forward carelessly. All of a sudden, I collided with a gruff looking man. He had a stubbly face, dark circles under his eyes, and graying hair. His entire appearance practically screamed misery. His choice of words wasn't very happy and pleasant, either.

"Jesus can't you see!? Watch where you're going!" He brushed past my shoulder, nearly knocking me down with him. Then he was gone.
