Chapter 3

Nasa loob na kami ng sasakyan ni Von at tahimik lang na nakaupo si Vanna naman panay tingin sa labas at ako din pero minsan napapasulyap ako sa rare view mirror sa backseat kasi kami umupo ni Vanna.

Naglakas loob akong magtanong kay Von kasi talagang ang tahimik namin kahit nga ungol ng sasakyan niya wala kaming marinig para kaming umaandar na walang ingay.

"Von where are we going?"tanong ko habang tinignan ang rare view mirror at napatingin siya dun sandali at sumagot.

"We're going to have a dinner after that we'll go to my parents"dinner?so ibig sabihin kami lang tatlo?this really a date what i wish to be.

"Why are you both smiling?"napatingin naman kaming dalawa sa driver seat pero hindi siya nakatingin sa rare view mirror.

"Nothing"sagot ko at tumingin kay Vanna ng nakangiti.

Von's POV

I'm still driving my car to one of my restaurant here in the area. Yeah i owned many and I don't have a plan telling them to you one by one because my business are many to mention.

I parked my car in front of a restaurant. Arriane and Vanna immediately unbuckle there seat belts.

I was the one who first get off the car second is Arriane then she guided Vanna. Why do i have to ask them to eat outside?i should have let that wife of mine cook a dinner instead of asking them out

"Good evening Sir Vander your table is rea-" i didn't let the waiter finished baka isipin ng babaeng toh na pinaghandaan ko talaga ang dinner which is not true.

"Where's our table?"i asked as i enter the restaurant and they just following me. Arriane and Vanna.

As we sit down Vanna started talking.

"Mom i remember when Grandma and I went to a restaurant like this i spill a glass of juice"she said and pout.

"Oh really?what happened to the Table etiquette and Manners i told you? don't tell me you forget about it" Arriane said as she crossed her arms and seriously looking at my daughter.

"I'm sorry mom...it won't happen again...i promise"Vanna said and raised her right hand.

"It's okay strawberry...just don't do that again it can embarrassed you"Arriane and hugged her. Okay fine there talking as if i am not here in front of them-,- shame on me...ako pa nag imbita ako pa yung mukhang walang kwenta.

"Von?why aren't you ordering yet?"that woman asked me.

"Why are you asking me?am i the one who'll eat your food?"i said and give her the Menu.

"Oh i see...we're sorry"she answered and get the Menu.

"What do you want to eat strawberry?"she asked sweetly.

"Anything mommy as long it has strawberry"vanna answered with a smile. But the smile she's wearing is not a happy smile it's a smile that could comfort someone.

"Really?should i serve you then?"Arriane said and laughs. I know what she mean.

"What do you mean mom?"Vanna asked her wearing a puzzled look.

"Your my strawberry kasi"Arriane said as she pinch the both side cheeks of my daughter

"Mom your just hungry...let's eat"Vanna said and ordered a food for the two of them.

After a mile of talking we actually eat our dinner. But still Vanna is still talking

"Dad this strawberry cake is a blast!"i smiled in thought knowing that Vanna loves the cake i personally ordered.

Arriane's POV

I'm really happy seeing my daughter is smiling and also we're with Von today once in a blue lang toh mangyari at sa tingin ko dumating na yung blue na yun and im really happy words aren't enough.

We're at the mall already nauna siyang bumaba at naglakad paalis kaya naiwan kami ni Vanna pero binilisan namin yung lakad para maabutan siya at na hahawak na sana si Vanna sa kamay ni Von ng hinaksi niya ito kaya naman nagulat ako at agad na inalo si Vanna na naiiyak pero agad ko siyang binuhat.

I'm looking at Von but i was already late because he just disappear maybe he got irritated to us and maybe he left us.

I walked back towards the exit while Vanna is just looking at where Von disappear my eyes is started to water but i just wipe it i don't want Vanna seeing me weak.

"Mom! it's daddy!"huli na ng makatingin ako kasi nabangga nako sa kung sino man.

"Where do you think your going?if you want to leave you don't have to take Vanna with you"i got shock when he talked and get Vanna from me. But i felt something stab in me when i heard that he want me to leave.

"You can leave"i dont have the courage to talk all im feeling is HURT instead of taking back Vanna i just continue walking outside.

I feel something water many water dripping in my face. Im just walking when a taxi stopped beside me.

May sakay itong isang tao pero di nako nag abalang magsalita at naglakad paalis pero bago ako makahakbang palayo at biglang bumukas ang pinto ng taxi at hinila ako papasok

"Ahhhhh!bitawan mo-hmmmm"tinakpan niya ang bibig ko at parang may kung anong nakalagay dun but it was too late to notice that it was a sleeping powder.
