You were happy and excited; today was you boyfriend's, Hunter Hayes, birthday. You had gone to get him some coffee cause you know how much he loves it and now you were on his way to his house with his present to surprise him. You had told him you had to work today even though you didn't cause you wanted to surprise him.
You got to his house and got out of your car and couldn't believe what you saw, he was kissing another girl!! "HUNTER!" You screamed in disbelief. He whipped his head around as soon as he heard you. He started walking over to you apologizing immediately. You weren't gonna listen though. "No just forget it. I hope you have a good birthday with her." You said bitterly. And before you knew what you were doing you poured the coffee on his head and threw the cup at him.
Weeks have passed since that, no texts, no phone calls, no visits, no nothing from Hunter. You were kinda happy he was leaving you alone but you honestly wanted to hope that it wasn't what it seemed like or maybe he would chase after you. Eventually, you couldn't take it anymore you needed to at least know why he cheated on you so you went over to visit him. You knocked on the door, as soon as he saw it was you he looked very ashamed. "Hey, I was wondering if we could talk..." You asked and so he let you in.
"Before you ask she was a friend of mine from a long time ago, and I honestly have no idea what made me think about cheating on you both, and I'm so so so sorry." He broke down into tears and you didn't know what to do. You waited until he calmed down and you said "I was really hoping it wasn't what it looked like, or I was at least hoping you'd chase after me." You said. "Well, if it makes you feel better she slapped my face and broke up with me" you both laughed at little about that. "I didn't chase after you because I was a jerk and you deserve better; you deserve someone you can trust." He said. "But I don't want better I want you, I don't know if we should try again cause you were a jerk and I don't know if I can trust you but if you promise not be stupid like this again maybe we could make this work. I want you and no one else." I miss you..." You said, your voice shaking.
"I miss you too and yes I can be better I can be the best boyfriend ever." He said. So you two decide to try this again and you give him his birthday present which was a scrapbook filled with pictures of you guys together and you spend the rest of the day looking at the scrapbook and laughing at all the good times you two have had.
