Prediction (Megami x Reader)

Chapter 7

Y/n spent the whole day thinking.

Deciding to either decline Megami's offer or go along like she said. "Class dismissed." Mida-sensei said and the students started to pack up. Well, I learned nothing. Good luck me for next exam Y/n thought to herself.

But Y/n simply didn't care.

Not like she teaches anything relevant anyways Y/n scoffed internally. It was a bitter comment but the cold truth.

"Y/n-chan? Coming?" Megami called from her table, Shiromi standing there in her usual pose. "U-Uh yeah." Y/n messily packed up the rest of her things before following the student council president down the hallway.

"I might as well write my will on the way." Y/n muttered quietly.

Megami heard no doubt, but chose not to answer. A few more steps and they arrive at the student council office. Shiromi slid open the door and stepped, along with Y/n and Megami.

Inside, the rest of the student council members were there. Kuroko, Aoi and Akane.

"President." Kuroko greeted formally before spotting the Y/H/C-haired girl behind her. "Y/l/n-san." the raven haired girl kept her composure. Does this girl ever relax? Y/n thought.

To her, even Megami was more laid back. Well, thats what Y/n sees when Megami's around her. "Kuroko, close the doors. Aoi, make sure nobody hears of this." Megami says sternly. The vice president and enforcer nodded before standing up. Aoi exits the room while Kuroko closes both doors.

The room was well lit, but there was still an unsettling feeling in the room.

Y/n sat down on the chair by the table. Where she assumed she was supposed to sit.

Y/n felt four pair of eyes on here. Three with expectant looks and one with a soft gaze. "Okay, Y/l/n-san. From what Megami has told us, you know about the recent murders of Osana Najimi and Kizana Sunobu?" Kuroko begins and Y/n nods.

"And you were here before because you were the second last person to see Osana, yes?" Akane spoke this time. Y/n nodded again.

"Now we will ask this, did you have any contact with Kizana before her death?" Kuroko questioned. Y/n stayed silent.

She shook her head, no.

"Damn." Kuroko cursed and turned away from the table. Y/n felt slightly, offended, and spoke up. "Why are you even concerned about this? Is this not the police's problem?" Y/n raised an eyebrow.

"Y/n, this is including our school. Yes we aren't supposed to be on this case but if this continues, it could tarnish the school's name and record." Megami said. It was true.

The school did treasure its reputation.

Y/n knew from research.

"Why don't you ask Taro Yamada? The senior?" Y/n suggested. "We did, he was the last person seen with Kizana actually. Well, last saw her." Kuroko said and slid a file towards Y/n.

Slowly, Y/n picked it up and skimmed through it.

"She was absent yesterday?" Y/n asked and Akane hummed in response. There wasn't much in the file, making it not really that useful.

"Where was she last seen with Taro?" Y/n asked. She had a hunch, but she'll need to ask a few questions to confirm it.

"From what Taro told us, he was with her on a quote on quote, 'date' around the park. He walked her home and that was when he last saw her. He planned to talk to her yesterday, but as Akane has said. She was absent." Shiromi explained. Y/n thought for a moment.
