The next day Y/n found herself in her room. On her bed.

There was no box. No Oka.

It wasn't dream Y/n told herself, more of convince but no. She knew it wasn't a dream. She wasn't naive to believe it was.

Oka was in there. She was trapped in that box. Someone did knock her out. Someone else was in there.

That was almost two weeks ago and the Y/H/C-haired girl hasn't got a single clue who it was. Shes got suspicions, but no proof. She told the student council, they gave her looks. She told Megami, she didn't answer.

The silverette checked for wounds, but then nothing else. All she said was 'maybe you just passed out at home without noticing'. Y/n however, didn't buy any of it and she will prove herself.

But now, it was exam week. Students have slowly stopped talking about the murders and focused on their studies. Whether by their own orders or their parents. For Y/n, it was her own, for Megami, it was a mix of both.

Monday rolled in and all the students slowly entered the class. The last being Y/n, dark bags under her eyes. She hasn't had a wink of sleep. Due to late night studying and keeping on eye open while sleeping.

She was beyond paranoid.

And she had a reason for it, but no one would believe her or take her seriously. Her life was in her own hands now.

Y/n sat in her seat behind Megami. The student council members would be in class like normal for exams or tests so it didn't really suprise Y/n. What did suprise her was Megami's lack of attention to her.

Don't get her wrong, shes not clingy. Its that, it confuses her. Maybe shes just busy with studying Y/n concluded, not wanting her mind to take in anymore thoughts. Her mind would go overboard.

Class went on as usual for exams. The teacher came in, handed out the papers, the students answered and there, class was over. Y/n basically rushed out of the door first, wanting to find a place to rest her poor mind.

The Y/H/C-haired girl decided on resting at the cherry blossom tree behind the school. No one would be there and it would the perfect place for peace and quiet.

Y/n sat down on the grass, her back leaned against the tree trunk. She stared at the branches above her. Watching as they swayed to the rhythm of the wind.

Slowly, her eyes fluttered close.

"Mom?" fourteen-year-old Y/n called.

The elder woman pulled the phone away from her ear, leaning down to hear her daughter. "Yes honey?" she whispered.

The younger girl smiled cheekily, holding up a thick book. "Can you help me?" she asked.

"Oh, sorry but I need to take this call. Can you wait?" her mother apologized before returning to the phone. The young girl frowned before turning away.

At this age, she could understand how buzy parents could be.

But she wasn't old enough to differentiate buzy and neglect.
___

Turns out mother didn't help Y/n with homework, and she got scolded for not being able to complete it. Arriving home, she got an earful from her mother for getting a warning from her school.

"You're always playing on that computer! Why don't you do you're homework!" she yelled. Getting sick of the scolding, Y/n opened her mouth.
