The day had already started horribly. Y/n woke up late despite sleeping earlier than usual and she didn't eat breakfast.

However, while she was getting ready, she kept looking out the window in her room. Some sort of paranoia bubbling in her.

Back to the present, Y/n walked amongst the rest of the students normally. The Y/H/C-haired girl tried her best not to bump into two certain someones which were Ayano and Megami. She also tried to avoid Ayano specifically but not so much that someone would deem it suspicious.

She knew avoiding Megami would be easy, Megami herself did it all the time. But as those words crossed her mind, she felt her heart wrench in pain at the idea of Megami avoiding her. Hiding the pain behind a tired poker face, she trudged on into the school building.

Class began normally from then on.

Y/n didn't have the need of opening an extra notebook and she could catch up on the studies shes left behind. However, this immediately struck someone as suspicious. Shiromi suprisingly. Shiromi knew first hand how often Y/n had spent scribbling in that blasted notebook of hers.

From lunch, to whenever she was free and obviously in class. Now Megami wouldn't know that. One, she was still avoiding Y/n and two she was the student council president. Meaning she spent most of her time in the student council office with paperwork. On the other hand, Shiromi and the rest of the student council members were normally patrolling the school. And Shiromi has bumped into Y/n the most out off all of them.

Shiromi eyed Y/n suspiciously as she paid close attention in class. Completely oblivious to the pair of judgemental eyes looking at her. Well not completely. Y/n knew Shiromi was looking at her but she didn't know why. If Y/n wanted to know atleast a bit of what a person's intention was, she had to look directly into the person's eyes.

But Y/n didn't want to that right now. It would be way to awkward.

So she kept looking straight and paying attention. Shiromi hesitantly looked back at the teacher infront of the class and paid attention herself.

Y/n let out a small breath of relief. "Okay class, take out you're notebook." the teacher announced.

Y/n grabbed her bag and pulled out her stationaries. And this time she pulled out one notebook.

"Class dismissed."

As the students packed their belongings and the teacher made her way out of class, Y/n tried packing her things slower. Hoping Shiromi would finish first and leave with Megami.

Unfortunately, Shiromi seemed to be packing her things as slow, if not slower, than Y/n. Dammit, stop playing and go! Y/n yelled in her head. "Shiromi, you done? We've got work to do." Megami called her fellow club member. The white-haired girl began to sigh and pack her remaining things faster, zip it up then go with Megami. Y/n cheered internally.

Thank you, Megami Y/n smirked to herself. As she placed her last notebook into her bag, she realized it was her investigation bag. Y/n groaned in frustration, thinking she must have misplaced it in there when she was rushing this morning. "Well, I'm stuck with you for today." Y/n muttered, zipping her bag and heading to the rooftop.

She couldn't possibly leave it. If anyone found this, there were two outcomes. She'd be labelled a genius detective or a crazy person. The second one seemed more like so she chose to bring it with her.

"The first one sounds nice though."
