Megami was invited sleeping over at Y/n's house.

Well forced.

It was late after sundown so Y/n felt like it was right to invite Megami over to sleep. The lights were off, Y/n and Megami were under the covers back to back.

None of them had mentioned anything after the moment. They simply sat in silence watching the sunset with their hands intertwined.

What they were was clear. No words needed to exchanged, but they still need some confirmation or reassurance. Megami took it as a bittersweet experience. The silverette wanted this, truth be told, but now she felt like she had a bigger goal.

Protecting Y/n at all costs.

She is no doubt in the middle of this case. So Megami felt, no knew that she had to keep the Y/H/C-haired girl safe by all means possible.

For Y/n, this felt like the last piece of a puzzle for her heart.

"Megami." Y/n spoke barely above a whisper. The silverette hummed in response. Instead of asking the obvious, Y/n asked something else. "You don't regret it, do you?" she asked. Megami craned her neck to look behind. Her eyes softened as they landed on Y/n's small figure. It was one of the times Megami has ever seen Y/n at her most vurnerable. And something tells her this wouldn't be the last time.

"Of course not." Megami turned Y/n around and cupped Y/n's cheek with her hand. "Then, what does this make us?" she asks. "Whatever you want us to be." the normally focused Saikou heiress found herself being played in the palm of Y/n's hands. "S-So can we be something m-more?" the Y/E/C-eyed girl stammered.

Megami moved herself closer and shifted to fully face Y/n before pulling their faces closer. "I thought you'd never ask." but before they could even close the gap, the phone rang. "Its my phone." Megami sat up to answer the phone. "Who would call at this time?" the silverette mumbled.

"Hello?" Megami answered. "Kuroko? Why are you calling at this time?" the silver-eyed goddess turned to look at Y/n and mouthed Kuroko. "No, y-you didn't interupt my time with anyone. E-Enough about that. Why did you call?" Megami regained her composure. Y/n felt her cheeks burn at the thought of people knowing her and the famous Megami Saikou going out.

"Okay, yeah I'll tell her. Goodnight to you too Kuroko." Megami sighed as she put the phone back down. "Is everything alright?" Y/n whispered. "You could say that." the silverette sighed. "Come on." Y/n pulled Megami down, lazily wrapping her arms around the silverette's waist.

"Get some rest, we can talk it over tomorrow. We still have Sunday." the Y/H/C-haired girl whispered softly. "But I need t-" "Quiet and just rest." Y/n said firmly. Megami had no other choice but to listen.

The sun shone through the window.

The almost translucent curtains not blocking much of the morning sunlight. Megami expected to find Y/n asleep beside her, only to find an empty space.

The silverette was a hundred percent sure this wasn't her home. Sitting up, Megami could hear the faint sound of sizzling outside and most likely downstairs. Finally standing up, the silverette walked down to see Y/n at the kitchen.

"You're up early." Megami spoke. "Good morning to you too." Y/n chuckled.

"I made breakfast on the table. I'll join you in a minute." Y/n said, not turning away from what she was doing. Hesitantly, Megami sat down at the table and began to eat. Shes had people make her breakfast in the morning back at home, but something about this makes it all the more special.

"You okay?" Y/n asked at sat opposite of her, causing Megami to frown a bit. "Y-Yeah, its really good by the way." Megami complimented. Y/n flashed a smile.
