There was a knock at the door.
"It's me," Heimdall said. He opened the door slowly " Are you ready?"
"Ready," You replied. You sighed and took his hand. He walked you down the hallway and stopped before he opened the door that lead to where the reception was taking place. Hiemdall looked at you with fatherly eyes. "I have no doubt that you love each other," He said "However, I want to remind you that marriage is forever, (y/n). Remember that."
"Forever," you said gladly "I'll be with him forever."
"(y/n)," Heimdall said gently "You look beautiful."
You blushed as Heimdall walked you down the isle. Thor, Tony, Steve, Bruce, Peter, Nick, Natasha and Pepper were there. They turned to look at you as Heimdall walked with you. At the bottom of the isle stood Loki. He was all dressed up in a black suit and tie. When you got closer you realized that the suit and tie were actually a very dark shade of green. You smiled to yourself.
"I couldn't help it," he whispered "I look best in green."
"Take care of (y/n), Loki" Heimdall warned
"I swear to it," Loki said.
Heimdall took a seat as Stephen Strange (you chose him to be your marriage officiant) spoke. "It is time for the vows," Strange said as he looked at you.
"I, (Full Name), from this moment forward with you by my side," You turned to face Loki " Promise to you my unconditional love, tenderness, and undying devotion, to not ask you to be more than you are, and to love you for being you. No words can possibly express the vow that I give to you now - it is an ineffable part of myself that I place in your care as we join together. I promise to love you, to be your hearth, to keep a flame alive for you in my heart. I vow to carry you and to be carried by you, to journey with you and to love each minute because of our travels together. We will live a life of constant adventure together. I now pledge to hold these promises dear to my heart, for the rest of my life."
Strange then looked at Loki.
"I, Loki Odinson, from this moment forward, with you by my side," Loki turned to face you " Promise to be the best spouse I can be and to be a loving father for our children. I will love you in sickness and in health. I will love you whether we are rich or poor. Not just for this moment, not for an hour, or day, or year - I will always love you. An old myth states that man and woman were separated, because the Gods were frightened of how strong we were together. Men and women then were left to search their lives for the halves they lost - you are my other half - let the Gods be afraid - they cannot keep us apart. I vow to love you as you love me, through all hardship, darkness, and pain to reach for our joys, our hopes, and always with honesty and faith. I now pledge to hold these promises dear to my heart, for the rest of my life."
"Do you (Full Name) take Loki Odinson to be your lawfully wedded husband?"
"I do, " You said
"Do you, Loki Odinson, take (Full name) to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
"I do," Loki said
"Then, by the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife," Strange looked at Loki and chuckled "You may make out with your wife now. I know you've been dying to."
Loki and you laughed as he pulled you close and kissed you deeply. ~
