Also, as many may know, there was a data breach in Wattpad's system.  I have straightened everything out in securing my account! And after a huge headache, the issue has been handled. So I will be posting regularly again soon.

~~Your POV~~

Running. You were running. Running down a dark alley trying desperately to get away from someone.

"Help!" you cried out into the darkness of that ally "Please! Help me!"

You heard sinister laughter coming from behind you. Your body was aching and screaming for you to stop, but you refused to let whoever was chasing you win. So you ran on. As you ran, the voice called out your name. At first it started as a whisper, but it got louder every time it said your name. It grew louder and louder until it was screaming your name.

"Ah," you grind your hands against your ears in attempt to drown out the voice. But it grew impossibility louder as you ran and it seemed like it was surrounding you. "stop it." you yelled "Stop it!" you ran on.

You ran

And ran

And ran. You heard a series of loud booms.

Then you tripped and fell.

Your eyes shot open and were met with darkness. At first, there was a desperate feeling of panic and danger that was to come next in your dream. But it quickly dissipated as you remembered where you were. You were shaking and panting hard from the nightmare you'd just had but you were grateful you had woken up before the bad part happened. These nightmares had started coming to you a day or two after the incident.

The incident.

That's what they were calling it. Whenever anyone was discussing what had happened to you and Loki that day they always referred to it as 'the incident'. As if it was just another unfortunate thing that happened. Not that anyone would ever tell you that. They were terrified to even whisper about what had happened in front of you. They purposely withheld information on what had happened to Nathan after he came to the hospital. You were glad to know that if you asked, they'd tell you. But it also bothered you that they would leave you in the dark if you never asked.

You sighed and looked around the room. It was still dark out and Nat was sleeping on the hospital cot next to your bed. Other than the light sound of Nat's snoring, the room was still. You smiled at your best friend. You were truly thankful to have her. She'd been there for you since you woke up in the hospital the first time, with no recollection of her or anything you two had been through together. But she never made you feel like less for not remembering. In fact, she treated you like nothing had happened. Like you were her sister and she'd known you for all eternity. She had always been there for you and she was still here helping you now. You thought about ways you could thank her. A party maybe? You weren't sure yet, but you'd figure it out just as soon as they let you out of the hospital.

The doctors had said your bruised ribs had already healed completely and your cracked rib was almost healed. Even though you were stable enough to stand and walk around without causing too much pain, the team insisted on you staying until you were completely healed.
